Hawka gets skipped so do I pick?
Hawka is skipped right? Just being sure...
Yeah he is. Had a squad of 39 then picked up Goodes, so full squad and no more picks for him :)

lol, I thought you were talking about adam- and I was like- oi brah, he's mine kent.

I am torn with this pick, had it between 5 guys but KB said this guy has potential to be a great pick going forward for our backline. So with our pick, Iceland Polar Bears select Leigh Osborne.

Wow this is poorly done. Like a few days ago it was argued that some teams were disadvantaged so there would be more. But it's not for another 2-3 months? Pickers has already declared he has players from Nails' side, but he will not get them for another few months?

I really would of liked to know about these rules before the Rookie Draft, as I had the impression that you get a lot more list movements, well at least 6.

I have Griffen from Nails side for next trade period, who i wont be trading anyway so dont really care when i get him aslong as i do. It was always staying at 4 list movements, the only thing that changed was rookie picked players can be on traded and not count as one of those 4.

I'll take

Pick 51 - Will Schofield

Wasn't all that fantasy relevant when looking at his scores in the VFL, averaged only 59.56, but he should get games for the Suns, which is all you would ask for with a pick at this time...

yep. 3rd trade period is just to fix up dpp changes etc.

Not just trying to pick a fight...

It was said in Worlds 3rd period was just for DPP...

It was never said the 3rd Euros period was for DPP after I read the "rules for the next two trading periods" around 5 times. It didn't mention the period for DPP fixing at all. I (and most others) was of the understanding we can trade anyone?

It never said in the rules (for Euros) it was DPP only.

Yeah, but who knows? Might get a different position at Suns and become fantasy relevant. Can't always guarantee VFL gun = AFL gun, nor can you guarantee a VFL will be an AFL spud.

Similar to Tom Rockliff (although both years in AFL)

Like 2011 = super fantasy player

2012 as mid only he was a spud...

So who knows :X idk

It was never said until like 1 week ago when Holz just said it randomly. Not sure how that works as a rule cannot be made up on the spot.

Also I lost 6 mids to DPP and 4 lost the position altogether I think. So if it's to fix DPP then I should get more than 4 list movements? If its to help with DPP why does everyone get the same list movements?

Justin Bieber

Plenty of talent left, but I'll go Steven May.

I think he has DPP.

I'm not going to go dig it up, but when we were first discussing the extra trade periods, the 3rd one was only put forward and agreed to due to changing dpps etc.

For instance, since the initial draft, jordan roughead and jackson trengove have both lost ruck eligibility... I've already addressed this in the draft, but honestly if hickey hadn't been available, I would be in trouble.

Trade Period 3 (Post Rookie Draft
• Once we get closer to the season starting a third trade period will start
• This will last a total of just 1 week
• During this trade period a total of 4 player movements are allowed from your squad
• Trades must be kept uniform (i.e 1 for 1, 2 for 2, 3 for 3 or 4 for 4)

It never mentioned DPP in the "rules" if it did, I probably would've put through an extra trade last period.

Ziplock

I seriously cbf to dig it up.

I dont think its limited to DPP, like we can trade players apart from dpp I'm pretty sure... I'm just saying that's why there's so little list movements.

Scrads

No offence but you guys are stupid.

When Holz said the reading period is for DPP changes he didn't mean you can ONLY trade a player that lost/moved position eligibility. He means that just in case a couple of players change positions that you have the opportunity to fix anything that might have been changed from what you originally had. The low amount of list movements is for subtle changes, not for team cleanouts.

Well up, they are the rules. Whether they are for DPP changes or not it doesn't change the fact that there's 4 movements available, and rookie picked players don't count. :)

Carry on in the draft please. :)

If you can find me proof that Holz said this BEFORE the first trading period then you are, call me stupid.

I'm not saying he didn't, I'm saying he should of mentioned every rule pre all trading periods. Like CF or someone else I think mentioned a few days/weeks ago, why are rules being made up all of sudden.

Ziplock

...

you're still not getting it lez.

YOU CAN TRADE ANY PLAYER REGARDLESS OF DPP BEING LOST/CHANGED.

the low list movement number was establish quite some time ago- before the second trade period had started.

the reason for the low list movement number was because the trade period was intended to finalise and fix holes in your team etc. Not that it really matters, since you knew about the list movement numbers, and there are no restrictions on the players you're allowed to move.

Holz has also said that players taken in the rookie draft do not count as movements (from memory).

Originally, we were only going to have 1 trading period, but because so many people wanted multiple trading periods, holz allowed it, hence why the rules mightn't have been around before the first trading period.

The first trading period started as soon as the season ended- we were still discussing the rules for subsequent trading periods at this point.
