Who will that ruckman be in 2013?

Ok so last year it was Ivan Maric and the year before it was Todd Goldstein, it seems that every year a ruck man comes from the clouds to break out and be one of the picks of the year. A couple of one which I think are possibilities this year are Matt lobbe if he is no 1.  to himself, maybe if Sam Jacobs goes down for the whole year it could be Angus graham. The one I really like though is bellchambers. Anyway just thought I'd leave it for discussion. Cheers.

Bellchambers is set to take the next big step imo showed some good signs late last season

theres no need to find one, leuy is proven to be a gun and is discounted and goldy is also 100k underpriced

It would have been Nic Nat if he had a full preseason

Yeh I just don't know about goldy. Leuy is a definite lock. Goldy just didn't look like he wanted to get many disposals last year looked like he would just do his job in the ruck and then wouldn't do much around the ground even when he was no. 1 ruck. I've got him at the moment but I think I'll watch his nab cup to make sure he's going to get back to his 2011 form. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on the Maric this year.

Bellchambers. He is ready to take that #1 ruck spot by a mile next year. He is currently sitting in my team. Not sure if I have the balls to go through with it though...

The It

Bellchambers is a definite chance of exploding next year, but with Goldstein cheaper he's a much safer option

I can see Bellchambers going mid 90s easily as our number 1 ruckman, could be the next Cox for our dts.

I haven't got him atm going Goldy + Leuey but if Belly shows us what he's capable of in the NAB cup he'll definitely squeeze into my side.

I reckon Zac Smith could burst into the 90s also this season, but would take a very gutsy coach to include him.

To be honest the rucks can be a gamble other than looking at proven no1 ruckman teams with good health history.
Cox and Jacobs would be safe options. But everyone, like me,wants to look for value and not spend max cash.
Goldstein seems to be reasonable value if he can return to 2011 form.
Leuenberger would be r2 in most teams. The other option is to look at either Pedo or Vardy.
Pedo could possibly be a great option to average 60 - 90 until the right upgrade bolts from the pack.
That extra cash enables an extra mid gun.So spend or save is the  question?

Max Gawn is another option. If Jamar goes down he is the guy that'll walk straight in, maybe even get games alongside Jamar. Looks to be doing quite well, may even overtake him as the #1 ruck there next year.

Shane Mumford was more than handy for me when Sandi went down, played the second half of the year and started getting his hands on the footy, good cheaper option that could hit 2011 again

Started with Mummy last year injured, late withdrawals, will his back hold up this year?Went to Sandi after Mummys injury, then that dam turf toe again!
Lets hope the Rucks dodge the carnage next year.

Oh god, I did the exact same thing. Mumford>Sandi>Ryder>Maric.  :-[

I went Mumford to McIntosh so I was hit hard in the rucks too.  Ended up with Jacobs plus Cox (though I started with Cox).
