Tomahawk??? Liked his finish to 09

Just wondering what peoples thoughts on him were? I liked the way he finished off 09 when moved into the ruck. It seemed to improve his confidence and when he went forward marked and contested better.
What do you reckon???

I think he has supposed to be a big up and comer for a couple of years now. However in saying that I totally agree with you about his finish in 09 couple that up with the fact of his gain in confidence and his awesome pre season as well as the amount of specialist training he is receiving and handling in regards to becoming a badly needed Geelong tall forward option and I beleive he has the potential this year to have his break out. He is reasonably priced and the guys have put a lot of work into him and he has responded accordingly. Well worth a punt in my opinion. I mean lets face it he will get fed well by possibly the best in the business. It will all come down to his leading and effectiveness. I reckon I will give him a shot.

cant see him scoring consistant 100's whih is what you want out of a KPP

Nah man he is not at the level to score consistent hundreds. I mean its ludicrous to expect that from a player his skills and SC price. He has the potential to make you some money and therefore be a good cash cow with upgrade options to a solid premium. I dont think he should be rated or even assesed as a KPP SC wise. He is a great upgrade option with a very small percentage change of becoming a keeper. In my opinion thats how i view him and would use him

i personally think barry hall is a better option

has shown a move to a new club can reinvent his focus and passion

has scored huge in the past and will have massive potential to score that again with better delivery and a gameplan directed most likely around him with johnson injured

i think he has 2 more decent years left in him

the risk of him loosing his cool is still there but i personally dont think he will this year because he has something to prove

Yes I think that is a very good evaluation of Barry. Plus he is right in to boxing now which teaches him discipline and more importantly controlling your temper. ;D I am seriously looking at having the two in my forward line. Although I am looking at some others around the Tomahawks price.

tomahawk is looking great - but i think he'll truely break out when mooney goes. and when u think about it he has ; ablett, bartel, selwood, enright, chapman, ect all taking high points already. how many will be left spare for tomahawk??? is he consistent enough infront of goal??
