Tyson blows PCL

GREATER Western Sydney young gun Dom Tyson will miss the start of next season after injuring his knee at training on Wednesday.

Tyson ruptured his posterior cruciate ligament in a collision with a teammate, and will have surgery in Melbourne on Tuesday.

In a statement, the Giants said the midfielder could expect to spend five months in rehabilitation, ruling him out of football until May.
