&

Grimes + Martin
vs.
Lake + Franklin

thanks Jukes xx

Backs: Great structure (even though it's weaker than most). Can't fault your selection of premiums or rookies, all good picks. 7.75/10
Mids: Strong, very top-heavy. Having both B/C and C/F DPP links in there will help out. 8.75/10
Rucks: To copy+paste for a moment, Standard. 8/10
Forwards: Strong. SJ, Rocky and Robbo all standard and good picks. Martin could be good if he lives up to his potential, has been rumoured to break out this season but people did say that last season but he dropped in average 7 points! I don't like him much after screwing me and thousands of other coaches over last season, although I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for him because he needed 137 to make me lose a grand final last season and he got 37 :D. Obviously love the pick of Cloke from my main men (Lake, Stants, Cloke). 8.75/10

Overall: 8.35/10

And to answer your other question without my Lake bias;

Grimes and Martin: 96 + 89 = 185
Lake and Buddy: 93 + 97 = 190

imo go with Lake and Buddy.

Backs: Selection of Suckling is a unique one. Lake's influence might have multiple effects, ie being freed up from forward tags which will allow more consistency and help him avoid those scores and he may return to ~90 average, but on the other hand Lake could steal a load of his free possessions and, although his consistency will improve, will probably not move in average at all. Should wait and watch his pre-season form and his role in relation to Lake. 8/10
Mids: Strong. If you ever need any cash, imo downgrade Ball to Embley. Ball will inflate to nearer to the top of his natural $$$ arc for 2012 earlier and will average like 5 more, but at the higher price poses a lot of risk as you have more money invested into him in case of re-injury, however freak it may be. Rest is good selections, I'd rate Redden over Selwood though. 9.25/10
Rucks: I think if somebody'd read like 2 of my reviews they'd know what I think of this ruck combination. 8/10
Forwards: Very well balanced. Naitanui will be miss a chunk of his pre-season (thread on it in the Players and Trades section) and maybe even some matches early on (*reliable* sources claim 6 weeks, aka KoopKicka) so I'd stick well clear of him. Priced similar are Walker, Wright, Cloke, de Boer, Broughton and Sylvia, all of whom I reckon will average more than Naitanui, in particularly the first three. LeCras too pricy for me but similar to Ball, wait and see on the injury status of Gray. 8.5/10

Overall: 8.34/10

I'll be on holiday for the next week or so guys, unsure whether my hotel has wi-fi or not, so I probably won't get around to any of these. Feel free to post yours, just hold it off though if you see several other teams waiting.

Cheers.

FWD: T. Rockliff, M. Robinson, T. Cloke, J. Watts, J. Jenkins, J. Kennedy (J. Growden, T. Lee)
CASH LEFT: $6,000

My concerns here are Mr Watts , could turn out to be a great POD but very worried also gambling on Jenkins think he has a big upside with DPP just hoping he can deliver and what do you think of K.Jack has a great draw early and i think he can dominate the weaker teams better than say a Kennedy or O'Keefe? Again cheers for your thoughts , Brad.

Backs: Standard, all I can say. Standard players and structure (I'm a bit groggy from the 7 hour car ride so can't think much :P). 8/10
Mids: Strong. Like the inclusion on Kieran Jack, in my unique team I had him, decent chance of breaking out. Would watch on pre-season to decipher between him and ROK. 9/10
Rucks: After a week away I still remember what I should say to this combo. Standard with a chance of 8/10
Forwards: Always love the Cloke-injections in teams. I like the inclusion of Watts, this could be his year where he steps it up. Jenkins not so certain on, can't see much in him aside from the DPP as you stated. Risky but strong line. 8.75/10 would be higher but the risk factor involved is huge.

Overall: 8.4/10

Jukes is killing it with the analysis!

Mate I just got back from an 8 hour car-ride, 5 of those holding in a piss, and I've been getting all my shower together all evening, let alone going to my father's house. Not to mention having constant pain from a deep gash on my foot and a very sore arse and thighs from horse riding for 3 hours yesterday.

I'll get around to shower when I can ok.

Biggest flaw of computers ever, cannot tell whether sarcasm or not. I assumed sarcasm because 90% of the time people are negative barbies on the net :P
