DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, P. Duffield, G. Broughton, C. Pedersen, N. Vlastuin (D. Terlich, J. Pittard)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, D. Beams, T. Cotchin, A. Gaff, L. Ball, A. Embley, O. Wines, S. Colquhoun (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)
RUC: H. McIntosh, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw, S. Rowe)
FWD: M. Pavlich, T. Rockliff, N. Naitanui, T. Cloke, M. LeCras, J. Stringer (J. Daniher, M. Shaw)
CASH LEFT: $322,00

thanks in advance  :)

Backs: Good choice in premiums and rookies. 7.5/10
I don't really do long review for backs unless they have a big POD because most people just go with the same premos and rooks in a similar structure :P
Mids: Gaff could go either way, good use of mid-pricers. Solid premos (although Stants > Cotchin) and rookies, although I rate Mitchell over Wines. 9/10
Rucks: Ham Mac could be a good POD if he can perform at the cats, bit risky as a primary ruck for me. Good rooks. 8.5/10
Forwards: I'd rate Lee and Macaffer over JoeD and Shaw, don't reckon Shaw will get many games, and depends on whether bombers ease Joe into the afl or not. Great pick in Clokey there. Unsure on Naitanui and Pav tho. 8/10

Overall: 8.25 a good side with a couple of smart PODS in HMac, Gaff and Clokey.

Here's a team for you to have a look at Jukesy.............................. Salary cap left: $47,800.

Brendon Goddard b/c, Jack Grimes b/c, Bryce Gibbs b/c, Greg Broughton b/f, Cameron Pedersen r/b, Jasper Pittard
Dean Terlich, Brett Goodes b/c

Gary Ablett jnr, Trent Cotchin, Scott Pendlebury, Marc Murphy, Luke Ball, Andrew Embley, Oliver Wines, Brad Crouch
Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney

Todd Goldstein, Matthew Leuenberger
Jay Lever r/b, Callum Sinclair r/f

Tom Rockliff c/f, Dale Thomas c/f, Jarryd Roughead r/f, Dustin Martin c/f, Travis Cloke, Mark LeCras
Brent Staker b/f, Tom Lee

l've just gone by fanplannner for the mpp players, but hopefully there's still that ruck flexibility there after Assistant Coach is out and positions are official

Realistically though l dont expect my team to line-up like this as l'm sure prices are too low

P.S. thanks for taking the time to rate my team mate, love your work man  8)

Backs: Seem normal premos, rooks and structure. 8/10
Midfielders: Strong. 9.5/10
Rucks: I severely do not suggest going with Jay Lever to link with Pedo. That link is not worth having one player you know won't play any games. I'd rate Rowe over Sinclair for R/F too. 7/10
Forwards: Strong. Like the inclusion of Clokey. 9/10

If you want the R/F and B/R links so much and are willing to include two players who will barely play at all, why don't you have any B/C or C/F links in the midfield? I rate those two a lot more valuable than ruck links.

Overall: 8.25/10

l dont expect either of my ruck benchies to get any games at all, they're there purely so l can use Pedo or Roughy when needed, both of who l see staying in my team all season......with Pedo ending up on the bench down back.
* my rucks really need to be considered the way they were intended.....effectively my rucks are Goldy, Luey, Roughy + Pedo

The reason l dont have any links in my mids is simply to generate more cash.....the best mid rookies are all mid only

P.S. Thanks for taking the time to rate my team Jukesy.......much appreciated  8)

Backs: Seems normal, same structure as most. Normal but good choices in both premos and rooks/cheaps. 8/10
Mids: Rate Stants over Cotchin and Redden, but w/e. 7.5/10
Rucks: Weak obviously seeing as it's total price adds up to like 600k. I rate Rowe over Staley for r/f, although I don't see it a necessary link and would prefer Majak Daw. 7/10
Forwards: Strong, I'd prefer Buddy over Cox tho as Cox is an old fart and will get flower all ruck/midfield time compared to what we're used to. 9/10

Overall: 8/10, could be better.

Cheers mate, but how do you rate Stanton over Cotch?

Jukes

Well you're obviously new, I love the Stantonator :P

Cotchin averaged 110 last season, pretty much his peak. I can't see him averaging above 115 this season- probably around 112. Stants meanwhile I can see going to 115, or at least improving much more on his average then Cotch. Stants is hitting the peak dt years and will be tagged less, seeing as we recruited a gun in Goddard, Watto has a lot more reputation with his Brownlow, and then guys like Howlett and Melksham developing into fine young midfielders.

$210,300 cash.

Wake up this morning, 4 new teams to rate :P

Backs: Weaker then most with only 3 premiums and Pedo. Good choice of players for this strategy. The rating is only for it's relative lack of premiums and not for poor player choices. 6/10
Mids: Strong, Stants <3, Swallow could be a good POD. Stringer will NOT be given c/f dpp eligibility I believe, only being a forward. 9.5/10
Rucks: Like the inclusion of Tommy Bellchambers. Could breakout like Maric did last season; too risky for me however. You may be the first person to not be including at least on of Leuey or Goldy :O. I don't trust Sandi's durability either. 9/10
Forwards: Like the defence a bit weak with only 3 premos, good choices in players however. 7/10

Overall: Solid PODs in Swallow, STANTS, Belly and Sandi highlighting this team. 8/10

hope I have enough money left over?

Backs: Uncertain on Geary imo there are better options at 100k more (premos) or 100k-200k less (Pederson then rooks. Strong overall. 8.5/10
Midfield: Weak with only 3 premos and Ball. Good choice of rookies- I'd rate Kane Mitchell over Garner however. 7/10
Rucks: Naitanui has had groin surgery and will miss a chunk of the pre-season, I'd leave him for now and re-evaluate a few rounds in when you can upgrade to him. 8/10
Forwards: Very strong. One of the best forward lines I've seen. imo Lee and Macaffer > the Menzels however. 10/10

Overall: 8.25/10, a heavily forward-balances side.

Backs: Normal structure, good choices in premos and rookies. 8/10
Mids: Kennedy and Greene may be great PODs, I'd rate Stants and Murphy over JPK, but I reckon Greene could average really good. Mitchell > Jones imo. 9/10
Rucks: Ryder could be a good POD, not for me however. Rate Grundy over Witts. 8/10
Forwards: No LeCras? I definitely rate many over Lewis. 8/10

Overall: A very well-rounded team with good balance in all positions with a good amount of PODs. 8.5/10
