Midfield: Here's where your team absorbs a lot of your salary cap. Having the three of the top 8 mids I reckon is OVERKILL9000, reckon downgrading Swanny to a cheaper option such as Stants and using that 150k elsewhere, such as the aforementioned defence, would go well. That 150k could turn Pederson (70 average, questionable JS/role) into Lake (90s average, great JS). Very strong...perhaps too strong. 9.5/10
Rucks: Stock standard, probably the best ruck line-up, although imo Daw > Sinclair). 9/10
Forwards: Loving the inclusion of Cloke, reckon he could push a high 90s average. Good forward line, although I rate Lee over Menzel. 9/10

Backs: Very strong. Reckon Birchall would go above Heppell though.  Also question Wright- I rate Terlich, Docherty and Colq ahead of him. 9.5/10
Midfield: Weak but a good strategy that may or may not come off. I'd rate Murphy and Stanton over Redden. Rookie selection seems good, although imo Mitchell and Goodes should go over McKenzie and Crouch/Hrovat/Hunter. 6/10 that's only because it's got just 3 premos; the selection is good.
Rucks: Griffin is a solid POD, could pay off if Sandi misses a lot of games which seems inevitable as of late. Daw > Currie imo. 8/10
Forwards: I rate Daisy and Cloke over Bartel and Bennell, although Bennell may be a good POD if he can develop into an early-to-mid 90s average. Like your backline, very strong. Rate Lee and Macaffer over Menzel. 9.5/10.

Overall: 8/10. Don't reckon it's worth the risk to sacrifice your midfield, the highest scoring part of the ground, for your back and forwards. Griffin and Bennell could be good PODs.

Backs: I rate Broughts over Heppell but Heps could break out this season and go mid-90s. Good choice of rookies. 7.5/10
Mids: Loving the inclusion of the Stantonator. Ball and Embley could be risky with both coming off a lot of time off last season, but reckon it's defs worth it, I'm thinking of doing it if I can scrap together 150k after the prices are adjusted. 9.5/10
Rucks: Reckon going with Vardy/Leuey as a third ruck is not worth it, Goldy then Leuey will play every game (bar injury and suspension) and Daw, Grundy will play a lot. Also questioning the JS of Vardy behind West and McIntosh. 7.5/10
Forwards: Unsure about the inclusion of JJK, he's very cheap but can't see him averaging 80. I'd prefer to pay the extra 110k and pick Cloke who could average 95 and become a keeper. But if JJK can average mid 80s you'll be laughing. Imo Varcoe is too expensive to be a bench player like Vardy/Leuey. 9/10

Overall: 8.5/10, a strong side with a good amount of PODs.

And you're not biased? :P haha.

Seriously though, Mundy didn't have a pre-season this year, yet still averaged 91.7 if you remove his sub affected games of 49 & 57. He finally built up match fitness towards the end of the year, and averaged a massive 112 in the last 5 games. Considering that he averaged 106 in 2011 (if you remove the 2 when he broke his foot), he should easily push 100-105+. Also 45k cheaper than Barlow.

I think it's smart to go cheap in the rucks - It's the easiest area to get wrong, lowest scoring, upgrade to the RIGHT premo when they present themselves, and saves a lot of cash. Still not sure which way I'll go though. Thanks. :)
