DEF: looks pretty good. Goddard and Gibbs are locks & Broughton should live up to his capabilities at GC. Not quite sure about Birch & Lake. I will be looking to see how Lake impacts Birch's score before upgrading to him. As for lake himself, he could come off and be a great pick. But with all the other good rebounding defenders at hawthorn - Birchall, Suckling, Guerra, Burgoyne, Hodge can all play down there. Surely they cant all get 20+ possesions. Rooks look pretty good.

MID: As a collingwood fan I'd pick Pendles over Beamer but he could be a good POD early on. I have both Stants & Murph as well. Stants should be freed up thanks to the tags going to Watson & Goddard. Talking of tags, hopefully Malthouse can help teach Murph how to break one. Ball is a good mid-pricer. Rookies are good. Maybe you could get a cheaper rook than Toumpas to free up some more cash for the MN rise.

FWD: Johnson & Rockliff are good picks. Just watch Daisy's pre-season as he's had ankle surgery. Cloke should get back to form and avg 85+ & LeCras is a lock.  Not sure about the rooks, Stringer will be expensive & Daniher/Lee are both KPP's so could be inconsistent. Not many FWD rooks going around atm so we'll just have to see.

Overall : Pretty good team. Not much different I would do. Just have to wait and see how much you'll be over the salary cap. I'd say you'll probably be about 100k over

DEF: Very good backline. Goddard, Grimes, Gibbs & Hartlett are my top 4 premos as well. Pederson should also be very good. Staker, Terlich & Pittard look good at this stage.

FWD: Once again cant fault your premiums, hopefully Martin delivers on what we expected this year. Varcoe should hopefully avg 70+ in a new half-back role. Will know more about FWD rooks as pre-season progresses.

Overall: Very very good team. Not much I would change. Got a very good amount of cash left over so will definitly survive price rises.

DEF: Goddard, Grimes & Hartlett are good picks. Not sure about the Dempsey and Johnson selections. I would take them out and put Gibbs back in defence and get Pederson as well.

MID: Requiring more mid premos. Get Gibbs back in defence and Rocky up forward. Get 2 more mid premos in. Also Jack Martin is ineligible to play next year.

RUC: Pretty good ruck set up. Were u thinking of having a ruc/fwd as 4th ruck to utilise the dpp with nic-nat or just switch him with Cox.

FWD: I think Jack will be to inconsistent. Trade him out for Rocky to come into fwd line. You probably also need to drop another FWD premium in order to get another MID premium in. I agree with you that Cloke should return to form and avg 85+.

Overall: A few iffy selections I wouldnt go with. Getting Rocky and Gibbs out, taking them back to their respective dpp positions and getting a couple more MID premos will improve your team heaps.
