Surely Hartigan would be a perfect fit for Footscray, Crows don't need a ready made back but Doggies do!

I did.

I think it's safe to assume most teams would have already considered him over the years, especially after a stint on North's list, so surely this is just a 'try&see' by a desperate McCartney and bullies who may need to replenish some backline depth after the loss of Lake, Hargrave, Gilbee and Mulligan.

The back rooks did ok, some of the mid rooks did ok, but the forward rooks are a small problem. Goodes did look very at home though
