He challenged the Renegade Coach after the game about bowling Samuels when he had been banned for suspect action by the IPL.  Went public with the comment and CA called him into account charging him with bringing game into disrepute.

Fine is suspended for 24 months

Will be interesting to see what happens in the ODI later in the summer Aus v WI. As most people would agree with Lehman's comments how can you bowl a legal delivery at 120km of 2 steps. Been reported one umpire has queried the action in BBL as well.

So imo bottom line how can you be fined for telling the truth and voicing an opinion. This may be the reason for the suspended fine.

Stupid to give a fine out for that IMO, but what can you do. Samuels obviously does chuck, just look at his action, and if he was banned in the IPl, why is he not banned in the BBL?

On a different note, Adam Zampa has been looking increasingly impressive every time I see him bowl. He is a leggie of only 20 years of age, who spins the ball a bit, isn't afraid to toss the ball up and getting the batsmen to play shots, and he seems to be developing a decent wrongun.

The commentators were saying that he should go to the tour of India, and at first I laughed at that, but the more I thought and of it and watched him, the more I thought he looked increasingly impressive. Has anyone else watched him bowl? What do you think of him?

They might as well get the Thunder of out the BBL and replace them with a team from Darwin or something...all they've done is produce poor cricket and easy wins for their opponents for a season and a half.

Watch out for Fawad Ahemd tonight, who is playing his first game for the Renegades as Murali is rested.

He was the Pakistani refugee who made headlines a couple of months back for helping the Aussies in the nets with his legspin bowling. He has joined a club very near where I live and he definitely is a talent. He's also been teaching a mate of mine how to bowl legspin and apparently he is a great mentor.

Here's hoping to a solid debut in the Big Bash, and hopefully he can break into the first class scene next summer.
