Well technically he has been dropped as he said he was available for the rest of the summer for all the limited overs games.

I thought about Bird, and he may be a good addition, but he has a much worse List A record than First Class. He is great at hitting the same spot over and over again in a test match, but I don't know if he has the variety that is required to be an economical bowler and wicket taker in limited overs cricket.

I have no reservations about any of them in the team. They are the players to take our test team forwards.

Despite the fact Bigpondsport and Cic are notorious for posting garbage, he has a point.

Wade should remain as the Australian No. 1 wicketkeeper and Bird really does need to be sent to India or the Ashes, as does Hughes

Exactly, those 4 really do need to be in the test team.
They all do, Wade could be keeper for next 10 years, Bird is really encouraging fast bowler and Hughes is long term number 3 who will do well in all forms of the game.
