Sri Lanka apparently the worst pace attack in world cricket
Bangladesh probably worse, but apart from them it would be true. Their pace attack has just been woeful since Vaas retired.

Vaas was their best pace bowler by miles. They've had nothing close to him since he retired. #BringBackVaas

Can't wait for this test to start.  I'm going to day one and two, so that should be a bit of fun!

Mitch Johnson apparently is the man to miss out, pretty unlucky

Hilfy gets into the squad allegedly because he is economical & a new ball bowler.

All well and good, but flower he cannot take a wicket to save himself.  ::)

If only Patto and Cummins weren't injured, they wouldn't have to worry about selecting either of them  :P

I think the only reason he got in over Johnson was exactly the reason Johnson got in in the first place.  Hilfy's home ground is Bellerive so they may think he'll be able to get something out of the pitch (much like how Johnson came into the side because we were playing in Perth).  As a Tassie lad myself I'm biased so I'm glad I get to see Hilfy bowl in Tassie.

yeah i know, i mean he could be a great bowler but when he swings the ball it swings straight from the hand, and test batsmen are to good and can play that, if he moved wider on the crease angled it in then swung it away he would be a lot tougher to face i think

Capper

yep Hilfy, Siddel and Hughes in for Hasting, Johnson and Ponting.

But as the English sing

"He bowls it to the left
he bowls it to the right
Mitchel Johnson
your bowling is sh!te"

So apparently rain but how much is expected? In Adelaide we had stormy clouds for two days but one minute of rain

Do we want to bat first? I don't like bringing in a new batsman at three, he's an opener anyway and could end in disaster, stick with Watto at three or stick Warner, untill someone like Khawaja comes in to take it! Or Clarke puts on his big boy pants, forgets to shave his legs, pulls out his tampon and bats at three
