Cowan should've been gone... Puzzled why Jayawardene didnt review  ???

Bill Manspeaker

i don't see how the umpire didn't see the deflection off the bat. geez it gets worse every time i see it.

Cowan very lucky too, that was plumb

This review system is worse than the match review panal

Surely the umpire should be able to review

if the umpire was able to review they wouldn't be able to make an LB or Caught decision without referring. Don't see many runouts these days that don't go to the 3rd umpire because umpires are too scared to make a decision. Giving them extra leniency would mean more time wasted going through a ton of replays, which no one wants.

Good end to the day for the Australians. We are in a good position now.

SIDDLE STRIKES AGAIN!

How is Paine going injury wise at the moment?
Going back to the keeper debate, I think that Wade should probably be seen now as the long term option. Paine is back after his injury finally and it looks like he is ok with it physically, but apparently it has affected him greatly in the mental side of things. Paine still does have age on his side, being 28, but I don't see him coming in for either of the upcoming Ashes.... I know he was seen as a prime captain candidate after Clarke goes, but I think this injury may have done a lot of bad things for his career.

Oh no, looks like Clarke has done his hammy after scoring a quick 50. Let's hope he can get up for Boxing Day....

Meanwhile with Huss at the crease, the Aussies are looking to hammer the Lankans and we should be posting a total around 400 that will be too much for them to chase.
