Midfield has good players but none above 600k, need some help with rookie defend

My backline is proabbly too expensive : Gibbs, Goddard, Scotland,Birchall, Bock, Pedersen (Plowman Vlastuin).
So i can improve my midfield:{ murphy, dalsanto,fyfe,Ball, Carrazzo, embley,morabito, O'meara (menzel, viney)}tt
are there any rookie or draftees who are guaranteed game time that i can put in my backline to bulk up the midfield????

Docherty would be a rookie priced back that should get game time, along with Davis from Bombers
