the Brissie boys would know more, but unfortunately i wouldnt think Docherty would be in their best 22
“He was Pick 12 last season and we didn’t get to see him, so he’s one player that we expect to see plenty of next year,” Voss said.
.. maybe as the sub ?
I can see him in the team not as sub
Hope so .. i guess we all want to see that name in the riound 1 teams first   :)
Yeah

Interesting to see the Freako's thoughts on Docherty. I took this from FisherSaints thread

FREAKO'S CLASS OF 2013- 2ND/3RD YEAR PLAYERS

Sam Docherty

There is no bigger certainty than him lining up in Round 1 this season if he isn't injured. He averaged 21 disposals per match in the NEAFL last season and demonstrated that he can find the ball, racking up 30 plus twice.

Good news thanks FF. Have him at the moment and will remain in my team if he's named round 1.

The Big Sauce Merret says:

"Docherty (and Golby) will be will most likely get some significant time in defense, as they (Golby & Docherty) look to lock down their back six."

I'm guessing this means NAB cup.

Yeah it is a big call but Voss has already said expect to see alot of Docherty this year

Mr.Craig

I wouldn't want to start him onfield but hopefully he can hold down a bench spot.

Anyone know why Docherty isn't getting in game time?  Is he injured or what, he isn't even listed as an emergency in round 2.

hardnut

i think they have a number of rebounding defenders (Adcock, Hanley, Goldy etc) so he simply finds himself down the list. Think he'll struggle to nail a spot this year tbh

strikes91

Yeo is in his spot. lions keep getting spanked he'll be in eventually
