I have made the following changes based on injury and suspension news:

Freo
Morabito out for Neale

WC
Naitanui out for Butler

Carlton
Scotland out for Lucas

Richmond
Foley out for Jackson

Brisbane
Staker out for Cornelius

GWS
Tyson out for Tomlinson
Cornes out for Buntine

GC
Bock out for May

Geelong
Menzel out for Smedts

Nick Salters also out of Ports lineup, replace him with Paul Stewart?
Paul Stewart should be in the 22 already! :O

Brisbane
FB: Ryan Lester, Daniel Merrett, Joel Patfull
HB: Mitchell Golby, Matt Maguire, Daniel Rich
C: Dayne Zorko, Jed Adcock, Pearce Hanley
HF: Rohan Bewick, Stefan Martin, Todd Banfield
FF: Ashley McGrath, Jonathan Brown, Tom Rockliff
Fol: Matthew Leuenberger, Simon Black, Jack Redden
Int: Brent Moloney, Andrew Raines, Claye Beams, Aaron Cornelius

Following the intra club trial I would make the following changes:
Maguire to Fullback in place of Lester
Docherty to replace Maguire at HB.
Swap Zorko and Rockliff
Replace Banfield with Green
Swap Black and Moloney (Think with Black coming back from injury he will start on bench)
Cornelius to replace Martin
Lester to Replace McGrath
Final bench spot a toss up between Martin and McGrath,  Probably go Martin for balance.

wow that makes the Lions a pretty strong lineup. Dam

Mr.Craig

I'd imagine Brad Hill would fill that last bench spot for the Hawks rather than Anderson.

Grannyboy

Didn't Stevie J just get himself suspended round 1? Maybe shift Stokes in there and D.Menzel to the bench?

I would imagine Puopolo would be ahead of both Hill and Anderson if he recovers from bone bruising in time.

For Brissy I'd shuffle Adcock to Golby's position, Golby to the bench and Moloney to the middle. Karnezis could push his way in with a few strong games pre season too.

For the Dodgies if B.Goodes get the promotion I think he'll play round one, his disposal was very good in the first couple of NAB games and I think a player with his experience could walk into their best 22. Maybe at the expense of Ruffy or Cordy if they go small or possibly Clay Smith.

Elliott gets my vote ahead of Clarke for the pies. A hard, marking, contested tackling machine fits better for me there than another outside runner in Clarke. They have a lot of those already especially with Young in there now and Sidebum on the bench.

I'm prtty sure Brad Scott has a back up ruck in mind with Daw and Currie and I believe one of them will line up round one. Mullett to give way?

I don't think Gray will get up round 1 for Power, maybe a round 3-4 proposition. The other Stewart, Pfeiffer or Moore could fill that void til he gets back.

I agree with Melbourne starting 3 maybe 4 rooks, they need to get games into these guys early. I could see Kent squeezing his way in too if he keeps up his round 1 NAB form. But Dunn, Sellar, Blease don't get a mention? Hmm they'll play during the year but round one this team is anyone's guess.

That's all I got atm, gimme a week and I'll change my mind completely :P

Stevenson & Heath will play rd1 imo for Hombsch & Logan.

Anubis

I thought D. Stewart and Butcher were injured. Butcher broke a bone in his hand but still might play round 1.

Carlton
FB: Chris Yarran, Lachie Henderson, Nick Duigan
HB: Jeremy Laidler, Michael Jamison, Zach Tuohy
C: Kane Lucas, Kade Simpson, Andrew Carrazzo
HF: Jeff Garlett, Jarrad Waite, Bryce Gibbs
FF: Eddie Betts, Shaun Hampson, Mitch Robinson
Fol: Matthew Kreuzer, Marc Murphy, Chris Judd
Int: Andrew Walker, Levi Casboult, Ed Curnow, Brock McLean

I reckon this will be pretty close to the team named in Round 1...

Waite is still 50/50 to play Round 1
I'd be surprised if Armfield doesn't start in Round 1 - maybe swap him out with Curnow?
And another small thing - Jamo is usually named at FB, so I'd switch him and Hendo around.

Otherwise great work m0nty!

Western Sydney

HB: Tomas Bugg, Phil Davis, Adam Kennedy

Fol: Jonathan Giles, Callan Ward, Toby Greene

It looks pretty good still... buntine is out injured though, I'd move hampton back into his position, and probably put someone like adams at HF and sumner at FF.

poor buntine :(

Bit of a rookie question here buuut teams for this weekend are named on Thursday night? Yeah?

And also, when do we get teams for the second week of the split round? Is it after the first partial lockout?

Yep,possible full lockout on easter sat.
The wise decision would be to wait til Monday.

I hate partial lockout, too confusing haha.

Theres no ROLLING lockout. It just PARTIAL so by Friday night all of our Bombers, Crows, Eagles and Dockers players are LOCKED IN and we aren't able to bring any players in from the aforementioned teams.

showers getting real here boys!
