looks good.  west coast looks great on paper injury free!.. essendon and richmond also look dangerous i think (injury free of course)

Sam Day would be a starter for the GC I would assume.

Nige

Dayne Beams absent from the Collingwood side?

Not too bad with the Swans, Monty, but here's tabs' team (I edited the bench):

B - Smith, Richards, Mattner
HB - Shaw, Grundy, Johnson
C - Hannebery, Bolton, McVeigh
HF - Jetta, Reid, O'Keefe
F - Mcglynn, Goodes, Rohan
Fol - Mumford, Kennedy, Jack
Int - LRT, Bird, Pyke, Parker

Emg. Malceski, Morton, Everitt

Basically Shaw in for Everitt is the big one. Also no Cunners in there. If Tippett is with the Swans (hope not!) he'd have to replace Pyke.

I think Plowman or Corr will play ahead of Darley for GWS. There's every chance they will want to play the top 3 picks just to show them off, meaning O'Rourke could pop up too. Also agree with Zip that Gilham should be there somewhere.

As monstrum said, WhiteX certainly won't be around, I'd personally suggest Simpkin will be his replacement and Ellis would be favoured well ahead of Spangher. There is also a gentleman by the name of Roughead who usually gets a guernsey. ;)

I disagree with monstrum about the Cats rucks, West played all of last year and it will take some time before Vardy proves himself to the point of taking that position, if at all. H-Mac will be there, you can slot him in at the expense of Gillies who now plays for Melbourne...

Young in for one of the bench players at Collingwood.

Not sure who to cut but I reckon GC will find room for Tom Murphy.

Wellingham should get a gig on the West Coast bench.

Port came out and said Wines will play Round 1 if fit.

Crouch would be a chance for the Crows.

Surely GC would be champing at the bit to put O'Meara on the park.

Those are the ones I can think think of at the moment.

Harsh call to leave Eski out, stew42! He just won you a premiership off his own boot!

m0nty

I forgot a bunch of people, actually.

Amendments made.

He'd probably be in for Rohan for the first half of the year

MTTY

Just a few opinions of mine on the Melbourne line up m0nty.

Joel Macdonald highly unlikely to be ahead of Toumpas, Gillies, Taggert, Strauss. Also Rodan will probably feature as he has been a stand out thus far in pre-season.

My thoughts

Macdonald - Out
Toumpas - In (Shift Watts to backline)

Bail - Out
Rodan - In

(Shift Terlich to backline, although i have my doubts he will debut round 1)

it is a bit m0nty but i dont see Rohan playing R1 as Mails said. Eski was lucky to be in the team after being on the outer around the bye period.

I dont expect Bolts to play any more than 15 games next year and expect the likes of Cunners, Mtichell and Lamb to get a run when he is out. Everitt, Morton and Armstrong purely there for cover

Yeah, I was wondering when Rohan would be back... more than a year out, really? Tough for the kid.

m0nty

Melbourne is a real crapshoot to pick, but I have updated it.
