126k left. I have a 10/10/10 bye structure which I'm happy with, and the team is a bit risky and unique. However I reckon having the extra trades allows for this. If I cannot afford this, I can easily downgrade stevens for a rook such as viney which would give another 100k. Thoughts?

Depending on round 1 teams i think you should consider B.Couch and J.Viney as rooks for your midfield

Yeah definitely. As i said if I am over the cap I can easily downgrade Stevens to Crouch/Viney. Rooks are all subject to change until roind 1.

Yeah me too, had him round 1 when he got injured then held onto him as what was an expected 3-4 week injury stretched to around 8. However I see sufficient upside in him with Lake, Hargrave and Gilbee all leaving and the extra trades give us a bit more licence to take risks I reckon.

Yeh but that may mean he needs to play for of a key position role with lake out and hargrave. Means less freedom down there. Like the selection of Gawn. What is he priced at?

About 130-140 I think. Similar to Daw, except

Less competion (eg. noone like Currie)
Bit more expensive
Taller. Much taller

yeh think i read something on dt talk about him. Didnt realise he was so cheap. He could be a awesome bench option cos he is backup to jamar isnt it? Although they do have stefan martin who pinch hits in ruck..

Yeah I had him in the back of my mind but only really started considering him when the DT talk boys started talking about him. An option i really like possibly instead of howard/bock is atley.

Alright, I've updated my team and it's been changed quite a bit, not as risky anymore though I reckon.

B: Goddard, Gibbs, Grimes, Atley, Goodes, Pittard (Docherty, Terlich)

M: Swan, Ablett, Cotchin, Murphy, Embley, Crouch, O'meara, Viney (Neade, Colquhoun)

R: Maric, Leuenburger (Witts, Daw)

F: Franklin, Zorko, Rockliff, Sylvia, Siposs, Byrnes (Macaffer, Staker)

Neade and Colquhoun are in the midfield for the F/M and M/D links, I think they could still be important even with the extra trades. Not sold on Zorko as F2 as there would be 3 lions in the forward line which I think is too many. Possible replacements could be Wright, Pavlich, Robinson, Walker, N Roo etc.
Any thoughts would be appreciated and cheered, thanks :)
