Perhaps I'm taking this all a bit seriously but this forum is called rate my team and I'm just trying to put it out there that the teams being posted off current fanplanner prices just won't fit the cap when true prices are released.

If you want other people to learn and input positively about your posts:

1. Don't be a dick. Starting with the word idiots and the f-word doesn't get you anywhere

2. Don't disguise posts as facts unless you have actual knowledge or sources about them (saying "it will be at least 5400" doesn't do anything)

3. Don't rage

4. Take the approach that you might be wrong and someone else might get it right.

I agree with you on your points noted below.

Yes I am being a dick. But if people pay attention then I've got my point across. I tried to flag the issue of incorrect pricing in a previous post yet people keep posting unrealistic sides. So I carried on with expletives. Sorry.

Last year the starting magic number was about 5400. Why would they reduce it? I'd love to be wrong but as more people play this game and get accustomed to how it works, I doubt the magic number will decrease. Plus you have 6 more trades next year.

I am a raging lunatic and took the wrong tact. But I have finished inside the top 5000 for the last 6 years. I think I know a thing or two.

I would love nothing more than to be proven wrong and for prices to be softer.

Of course the numbers wont be correct, if m0nty knew the correct numbers then SC and DT would already be open for everyone to start posting their teams. M0nty has simply taken the magic number from last year and increased it. He has already increased the price of players it several times in the last couple of weeks, so all you are doing is just getting everyone that likes using this site offside and they probably wont take anything you say from now seriously.

Remember, it is a fan planner not the precise team you will be starting with.

I understand the concern on both sides....a) "F" idiots was a bit harsh but it got people's attention. B) It is difficult to give teams an accurate rate. Thus I have not posted my team or provided a rate as yet that time will come.

Perhaps increasing every player's value by 15K would allow a truer reflection on accuracy. This will remove 1 or 2 premiums from most current teams and when prices do get released any spare cash is a bonus.

Like yourself I too have finished in the top 5k in the last 5 yrs however last year was a downer finishing in the top 15k range...I feel I am also well versed in the sc format.

The fan planner is a great tool to base next yr's side on and develop a strategy. My current squad is the team I will most likely take into round 1 providing their is no pre-season injury concerns.

You may want to turn your rage towards CD/VS so they can start realising those prices.
