Jay

Hey all. This is my official SuperCoach thread where I will post everything to do with my team throughout the season. I accept any criticisms to my team and will look to take all advice on board. In 2013 I will be striving for the highest overall position I can get rather than going for league wins as I have every other year. Below I will post my most up-to-date squad and will give reasonings in a seperate post. Cheers and I look forward to hearing from you as the season progresses.

Gone with a risky team because as we know to win overall you have to take risks. I have stacked my backs and forwards and gone with just a few midfield premiums - this is because I see the midfield rookies/cheapies available this year are so good and I believe they can make me a lot of money to then be upgraded later on. "Brent Stanton?" you may ask, well everyone knows he starts the season on fire, so why not use him as a cash cow and a captain option until his bye and then trade in someone who performs consistently over the whole year. I believe I have selected the best premium options in my team and think my backs, forwards and rucks are just about set. I think Ablett will drop in price at soms point and then I will look to get him in, same goes for Swan.

Because you don't trade premiums.

you talking about Stants? Well I bet my house he will start the year off very well again but if he does start to tail off it will be an easy straight swap to a super premium and I would have pocketed a lot of points for a bargain price.

Rowy

Great idea with using Stanton in the way you are, especially given the extra trades that we can use in 2013.

This team will be about 480k above salary cap when prices are released.

Bock only coming out of a moon boot this month.

2 premium midfield strategy, taking advantage of the gun mid rookies available this year. All other lines are set right from the word go. I have faith in my choice of premiums.

Team is now bye friendly with no more than 2 premiums with same bye in each line...

Wont be doing any more fanplanners until the magic number is released and we get some more accurate prices.
