Now I traded Cox and Terlich to Siposs and Pederson.

So basically, from the above team I have traded Wines and Knights to Tom Mitchell and Siposs.

So what you are saying is that you have no cox??

Would prefer Cloke, Sylvia, Breust and down to Siposs than Christensen.

Should have included that sorry, I only have $1,400 left which means I can't a) get Heppell for Hartlett or b) get Rowe for McBean like you suggested. McBean I plan on using for the VC loophole when I get a chance to use it anyway as well as the rotation with Cox.

Nice team scrads.
FYI, here are some actual stats for the defenders in question:
Hanley (priced at 83) - 94 (average against first 6 opponents) / 86 (average against first 11 opponents)
Heppell (85) - 84 / 87
Hartlett (82) - 90 / 88
Grimes (92) - 88 / 90
To me that shows that the stats suggest Hanley and Hartlett are better value than Heppell or even Grimes to start the season with.

Strong mids, although Beams has a pretty poor average against his first 6 opponents (106). Boyd's average is better over the same time (114). Murphy too (108), although people have raised the potential that he may cop the No 1 tag this season.
Mummy, Cox and Robbo all start the season strongly too.

My only concern is Christensen. Reckon he's not going to end up a top 10 forward nor make much money so would recommend downgrading him (Varcoe if you want a Cat or say Knights / Kennedy) and upgrading Lee - who by all reports looks like a Beau Wilkes-esque DT spud. Staker, perhaps?

OUT: Mummy, Christensen, Hutchings, Crouch

IN: Varcoe, Neade, Stanton, K.Mitchell

I have the cash to turn either Byrnes or Varcoe into Knights if he is looking the goods.

EDIT: This picture doesn't show it, but Brad Crouch is actually Kane Mitchell currently.
