I know 1 of the back 3 but last time i mentioned his name you werent happy

Scrads

The time has come :)

This will be fun ;)

I think pre season is only good for researching players, deciding who you like then you just have to wait for round 1teams and hopefully get a team together that you like before lockout

Not that I won't edit my team everyday until then lol but that's mainly out of boredom

Scrads

Muppets'n'Spuds Fanplanner squad in the Dream Team competition coached by Scrads. Salary cap left: $70,100.

Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Hamish Hartlett, Greg Broughton, Jasper Pittard, Sam Docherty
Lewis Stevenson, Sam Colquhoun

Dane Swan, Gary Ablett jnr, Dayne Beams, Scott Pendlebury, Marc Murphy, Oliver Wines, Anthony Morabito, Jaeger O'Meara
Nathan Hrovat, Jack Viney

Patrick Ryder, Matthew Leuenberger
Jarrod Witts, Brodie Grundy

Tom Rockliff, Dale Thomas, Nic Naitanui, Dustin Martin, Clay Cameron, Brent Macaffer
Jed Lamb, Tom Lee

My first official team.

Forward rookies I don't like, may have to find some more cash and get a mid pricer there to take up a spot.

Other then that I think it looks very good, the only glaring issue is my 11/4/15 bye structure :-\

kilbluff1985

Nice Nat and Thomas even with there pre season surgeries?

Otherwise I like it

Scrads

Already made my first edit.

Swan + Hrovat for Stanton + Embley

T Dog

Backs: Strong, but I rate Birchall and Lake over Hartlett tho. Other than that faultless. 8.5/10
Midfield: Strong, especially with probably the top 3 scorers for 2013 in there. I rate my man Kane Mitchell over Morabito but w/e. 9/10
Rucks: Standard, wouldn't include both Witts and Grundy though as they'll be directly competing and would mean you have 3 R13s. Would prefer Majak. 8/10
Forwards: Why I'm putting Broughts in my forward line so I only need two forward rookies. They're all shower- can't see Cameron or Lamb playing much at all, let alone Macaffer. 7.5/10

Overall: 8.35/10, not enough POD/unique players imo.

Should probably have the updated version up.

TEAM NAME: Muppets'n'Spuds
DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, H. Hartlett, J. Pittard, N. Wright, S. Docherty (L. Stevenson, S. Colquhoun)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, D. Beams, S. Pendlebury, B. Stanton, M. Murphy, A. Embley, O. Wines, A. Morabito (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)
RUC: P. Ryder, M. Leuenberger (J. Witts, M. Daw)
FWD: T. Rockliff, D. Thomas, N. Naitanui, D. Martin, G. Broughton, B. Macaffer (B. Staker, T. Lee)
CASH LEFT: $26,800

Think it is a bit unnecessary to judge the rookies at this stage, I think everyone is in the same boat of just watching the NAB and waiting for round 1 tbh. When the team gets judges they should just be treated as a placeholder for a rookie as their is no guarantee who the plausible options will be.

11/6/13 bye structure still needs some tweaks. Now my backline looks weak.

Windigo

I'd still prefer Broughton in the defense, yeah at this stage your defense does 'seem' weak.

I reckon a good ploy to go with is a mid pricer in the forwards at this stage, no real rookie are presenting themselves. But that is sure t ochange in the coming months.

Just think that the 402K Broughton is better off in defense.  :-\

Otherwise, your putting a lot of faith in Hartlett, which as good as he can be, will never player all games in a season unfortunately.  :-\

Backs: Relatively weak but good choice of players. 7/10
Mids: Very strong. Pretty much the exact same non-rookies as me except I've gone Cotchin over gAblett. Good choices in rookies. 10/10
Rucks: Good. 8/10
Forwards: Strong, heard from a very reliable source (lol jk KoopKicka ;)) that NN is missing the first 6 weeks; even if fit I'd prefer Cloke over him. 9/10

Overall: 8.5/10 a strong side, maybe missing another POD to complement Stants.

If it helps make my backline better I have since moved Staker to the backs giving me the option of playing Broughts there :)

Thanks for the advice, will monitor NN closely for sure.

DEF: Same as Jukes, quite weak, but still great choice of players. 7/10
MID: Very, very strong mate, only concern I have is Morabito, even if he doesnt get up will only get you a 65 avg. 9.5/10
RUC: Great, However Id swap Ryder and NicNat since NicNat injured and trade NicNat to Goldy 9/10
FWD: Haha youre hillarious Jukes, all I know is hes out and may not get up round 1, 6 weeks mightve been an overstatement. :P But great FWD line. 9/10

= 8.6/10

Great side.
