Powerman's squad - Salary cap left: $69,400.

Brendon Goddard, Jack Grimes, Bryce Gibbs, Michael Johnson, Hamish Hartlett, Sam Docherty
Dean Terlich, Mitchell Wilkins

Gary Ablett jnr, Jobe Watson, Trent Cotchin, Sam Mitchell, Brad Crouch, Tom Mitchell, Jaeger O'Meara, Oliver Wines
Nathan Hrovat, Jack Viney

Nic Naitanui, Matthew Leuenberger
Brodie Grundy, Majak Daw

Lance Franklin, Steve Johnson, Tom Rockliff, Patrick Ryder, Mark LeCras, Andrew Krakouer
Daniel Menzel, Joe Daniher

Byes: 3/3/2 - 4/2/4 - 1/2/1 - 2/3/3 = 10/10/10 (in the format of R11/R12/R13)

Would love it if that fell under the cap when it's released in mid december for those who have Assistant Coach

Backs: Goddard, Grimes and Gibbs, top 3 defenders of 2013. Johnson, now he'll be very unique... Hartlett could do a Grimes of 2011 or Grimes of 2012, Docherty and Terlich are good, but I've never heard of Wilkins, perhaps Jasper Pittard instead?

Mids: GAJ, tick. Watson, unique, won't go gangbusters, but safe for 110. Mitchell, could improve on a disappointing 2012, but I wouldn't risk it. Mitchell is unlikely to get games, Hrovat is an unknown quantity, the rest of your rooks are good though.

Rucks: Solid bro.

Fwds: Buddy and Stevie and Rockers, tick. Ryder, I'm not too sure about. Select him at your peril. LeCras, tick. AKrak, underpriced, but might be better options, such as Menzel. Joey Daniher might actually be unique, lol  :o

Overall it's a pretty good team, however I don't think it will fit under the cap. Some are saying it should go up by 100, meaning you'll need an extra $200-300k... sadface.

Is that a figure you've made up, or a general thought on here? either I don't think it'll fit in either somehow

I made the guess about the $$$ involved, but I've heard suggestions that the MN should be raised by 100

kilbluff1985

general thought on here is you need 300k-500k spare to fit in as said your team is good if you have to i suggest dropping a premo mid for Ball to make up the cash or downgrade a defender to Pederson

I'd probably go with Moloney (BRI) before Ball TBH.

cheers for your thoughts.  ;D
