WTF??! I love the current structure... Yes, this one will be higher scoring because premo mids are better than fwd/backs, but now I'm just confused... Most of my plans thrown out the window

Rolling lockout is rubbish id say 90% of coaches would agree.
The rest i can live with, 30 trades with the Magic Number lifted will ensure nobody has a list full of premiums by round 13.  :P

Best 18 over the byes is ok, solves the sugar rush from eating donuts for 3 weeks.A better alternative to the carnage of last year.

All in all what can you say but its even for everyone bar the rolling lockout. Feel for the coaches that work or have to work on the weekend or have family commitments etc. Sets it up for the coach with no life who is able to sit by his computer all weekend making all the relevent changes as required and tough  for everyone else.

Agree with you Grazz, I am not a big fan of the rolling lockout. Lol we can do the captain loophole every week if we wanted to  ::)

So if a gun is playing on a Friday or Saturday we just make him VC and if he doesn't score well chuck the C on a gun thats playing on Sunday but if he does kill get put the C on a rookie that isn't playing and put one of your starters on tbe bench with an E. If so this is going to be so showed this year!

It's not as easy as that, you need your rookies to be playing on Sunday and not Friday, and assume you don't have any late withdrawals.

It is an advantage, but not as big as you'd think

We have to wait to see what the rules are but imo no real changes are necessary. 
All proposed changes will take the skill and planning out of the game.  If the MBR round proposal of only taking the best 18 scores regardless of position becomes a rule then these become a non issue as well.
As I said will wait till announcement but not impressed with rumours I am hearing especially the restructure of lines and 30 trades,

Just on the rolling lockout......if you have set your team and arent sitting on the web all weekend ( as with last year) i dont remember too many "mishaps" with late withdrawals especially after the bye rounds as reasonable emergency cover kicked in. So I am thinking it shouldn't be a massive disadvantage when looked at over a full season.  Am i reading this right or have I missed the point as usual?.. 8)

Mate they aren't rumours, they are confirmed. The HS has confirmed it. Champion Data has confirmed it. Well, the 30 trades and line changes at least...

YEA I was thinking the same. Not very often we see two late withdraws in the same position. What's the point of the (DT nerd's) having emg's then, can someone tell me???

Late withdrawals and vested  players raised their head on a number of occasions last year for me as for many others im sure.
The vc loophole being in play every weekend is another issue with the rolling lockout. The above only needs to occur on a handful of occasions at say an advantage of 60 points and through no fault of your own your 300 points behind then add on the advantage of the vc loophole, who lnows what that will cost you over the season, i just see it as a big advantage for the guy/girl that can sit on or around their computer for the weekend, i dont own a smart phone either. Its almost confirmed i'll never finish #1 (Which was probably not going to happen anyway) but in order for me to i'll need to do it so much better than  others and hey this probably wont happen either. It's the one change that wasnt waranted or needed but has been brought in simply for commercial value for VS as their will be so many more hits on the fantasy sites over any given weekend. Had my rant haha now just deal with it Grazz.

As someone who has been doing Supercoach for 4 years and still sucks, I don't mind them. :-[ ::)
