It's a free forum Ossie. I can post what I like on topic. It's an opinion. I'm allowed one. Get over it if you disagree, don't need to whinge when people have opinions different to your own. It seems to be a popular thing for you however.

Of course you can post what you like, but your level of disrespect towards everyone is a cancer on many topics. And I'm allowed to post my displeasure of that.

Well use your mod powers to delete the posts...

I resigned from my mod duties for a few reasons Nails, and you were in fact one of them. Not a major one, but definitely a factor. The major ones was I sold a house, changing jobs, moving interstate and am expecting my first child. The minor one was seeing the absolute trash you were talking about me (and others) in chat.

And so ends the career of a legend. Thanks for the memories Ricky.

Generally you want to post opinions in when more than one person agrees with you....

That's usually the borderline when most realise they're a) being a dick or b) wrong

Bye bye Ricky. Will never be forgotten.

take your bickering elsewhere. This is a Ricky Ponting appreciation thread, not the place for a petty argument... Yeah you're entitled to your opinions but don't do it to stir everyone up

You're correct Tom, I apologise.

Look who made the thread.

It's an "about bloody time" thread

Not my fault you all posted off topic!

@Ossie - I didn't even talk about you in chat... You wouldn't be worth my time in chat.

Oh, maybe I made some comments when you quit? I dunno, forgot what I even said... But things only hurt when there's some truth to 'em imo.

Nails

Was a great batter, great player and fielder

But an average captain. I feel he should have retired a while ago IMO.

Holds the all time record for test matches won as captain...Kind of suggests he was a pretty decent captain.

After that double-hundred in Adelaide this year. That is when he should've gone IMO

He walked into a good team... His tactics were average.

First captain to lose the Ashes in how long? Back to back losses.

It really comes down to statistics vs. opinion
