I'm happy about this tbh.. get some young blood in.

Fletch74

Agree, it was about time. Now who to play.... We need to blood some youth before we play England.

Usman/Marsh/Hughes

would not be against any of them getting a run.

WA: 3
VIC: 1

If only the selectors could pick only 4 NSW players these days.... haha It is still a better split than these days. :P

And Ricky Ponting, i know many have criticised his form lately, but he'll be missed in the XI. :'(

Ricky Ponting a legend of the game and there is nothing and noone that can replace him in the Aussie team. An absolute legend and one of the greatest careers, always a competitor. You'll be missed Ricky.

Tominator

All the best in your future Ricky. An amazing player who will forever be classed as one of world cricket's greats.

Last player from the golden age during the 90s, I'd like to see Khawaja and Hughes bloodied for Sri Lanka series as they are the two best batsmen outside the Test side

Nige

I was never a fan of Ricky Ponting, but congratulations to the man on a fantastic career.  8)

Now get my man Khawaja in!  ::)

Grazz

Thanks for the memories Punter, all the best to you at the WACA and into the future.

Capper

Well played Punter, great career.

I remember when you were young and got punched in the eye by Carlotta at the "Bat and Ball hotel".

No doubt he will swap the bat for a driver and kick arse on the golf course (plays off 0)
