All the port players trained today, including Liam Jurrah. Think he may already be a port player because after training they were all seen at West Lakes shopping centre in there media polo tops with all the sponsors on em and who else was wearing one but...you guessed it! Liam Jurrah!

Bit unusual for Jurrah to be wearing one seeing he isnt on the list yet and there is still doubt over wether he will be picked by Port.

Btw what are power fans thoughts on jurrah? Personally im dissapointed in port, we have Schulz, Westhoff, Butcher, Daniel Stewart and Robbie Gray, our fwd line is packed enough. Jurrah is in trouble with the law with the case still going continuing next year and even at his best Jurrah is no buddy or brown. Would much rather see port draft players like Coloquhan, Matthew Haynes and Nathan Stark in the draft. Midfielders and small defenders which we are lacking in, or even Brent Prismall for some experience to our midfield

of course jurrahs not a buddy or brown- he's a medium sized forward with a big leap. westhoff, schulz, butcher, stewart are all tall forwards. Out of those you listed gray is the only medium forward, even then he's on the small side fr medium, and always injured.
your other medium forwards: monfries, moore (he's used more as a back though isn't he?), young, thomas, paul stewart (even he's verging on tall though)

hardly super stars.

take what you can get.

Jurrah won't be drafted, he won't match the training requirments of the Port Adelaide football club before what is I believe, Dec 14

reports said he'd put on weight/ gotten lazy, but that picture he seemed to be around the right size...

we'll see.

The coaches say he's fit, doesn't mean he has what it takes to play elite sport. Port may take him but they're only kidding them selves if they do! By december they need to rook the boy and I just ndon't think he has the metal to prove to the other Port players that he can actually make it as an elite footballer!

I think any team would take a punt on Jurrah, he has the talent to be All-Aus

The F.A.R.K.

Jurrah looked fit and ready to go i reckon he will meet training requirements as well

I dont think he would be a bad pick up at all. At his best he is as exciting and damaging as some of the best.
Its not really a risk, he will be paid peanuts and can play 2's until he earns a spot.

We think that injury-related fitness concerns together with off-field issues he is dealing with means it is not yet the right time to fully integrate him back into the AFL system and all that it demands," Rohde said.

Although a spot on its AFL roster won't be on the table, Rohde said the opportunity to play with the Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL, as well employment, and medical and off-field assistance should give Jurrah every chance to return to the AFL.
