TEAM NAME: sidebyside

DEF: B. Staker, B. Gibbs, J. Russell, H. Shaw, B. Goddard, G. Broughton (C. Pedersen, J. Pittard)

MID: S. Pendlebury, M. Murphy, J. Redden, D. Mundy, L. Ball, O. Wines, B. Crouch, A. Morabito (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)

RUC: N. Naitanui, M. Leuenberger (N. Vardy, B. Grundy)

FWD: S. Martin, T. Rockliff, T. Cloke, B. Macaffer, D. Thomas, H. Bennell (T. Varcoe, M. LeCras)

CASH LEFT: $236,100

May have to drop J.Russel for a rookie back to fit under the cap
Or swap out D.Thomas if he has an interrupted pre season after surgery

Def: Russell a guy not many seem to be keen to take the punt on. I think he could shine at a new club. Shaw also a unique and a great scorer.

Mid: Think Redden is more suited to DT but still not a bad choice.

Ruc: Gun combo

Fwd: Alot of risk with Dmart (hot and cold), Cloke (was it a one off bad year?), Thomas (injury concerns), Bennell (Is he ready to go to the next level) If they all pay off it will great but I would think about dropping atleast one for someone like cox or Buddy.

Looks pretty good. The fwd line the only real questionable line 8/10

Bones Bombers Fanplanner squad in the Dream Team competition coached by bones351. Salary cap left: $14,000.

Brendon Goddard, Jack Grimes, Bryce Gibbs, Dyson Heppell, Cameron Pedersen, Kristian Jaksch
Jasper Pittard, Brent Staker

Dane Swan, Gary Ablett jnr, Jobe Watson, Trent Cotchin, Scott Pendlebury, Oliver Wines, Troy Menzel, Brad Crouch
Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney

Nic Naitanui, Matthew Leuenberger
Majak Daw, Liam McBean

Dean Cox, Steve Johnson, Tom Rockliff, Mark LeCras, Travis Varcoe, Jake Stringer (Taylor Garner, Clay Cameron)

Most likely not enough cash left but really love this team. Not sure I want to share it too much.
Lots of DPPs to cover rookie spots and an awesome midfield. Obviously Nab cup and Rd1 teams will make the final decisions.
What do you think?

Sorry mate, so this is a DT side? Would rate it differently being DT or SC

Hey mate if you could let me know what you think of this team it would be great.

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, N. Bock, C. Pedersen, L. Plowman, S. Docherty (N. Vlastuin, J. Pittard)

MID: S. Pendlebury, J. Watson, J. Selwood, T. Cotchin, M. Murphy, N. Fyfe, J. Toumpas, B. Crouch (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)

RUC: P. Ryder, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw,B. Grundy)

FWD: N. Naitanui, J. Bartel, T. Rockliff, D. Thomas, M. LeCras, D. Menzel (B. Staker,B. Macaffer)

CASH LEFT: $99,400

Def: I think its a prem short here. Bock at D3 is a risk. I would look at freeing up some cash to get another prem back there.

Mid: Super strong midfield, perhaps a little too strong as its leaving your backline weak.

Ruck: Nice to see someone with Ryder. I think he will have a big season.

Fwd: Bartel I feel is more of an upgrade target. His avg has been on the decline and he will no doubt spend less time in the mid than previous years. Daisey having ankle surgery something to be weary of.

Only needs minor changes imo. Wont come under the salary cap when official prices are released so you will need to free up some room. Probably downgrading the midfield a little. For now its a 8/10

Haha sorry mate had some trouble with my bloody iPad. Have the same team in SC but I'll send it again using the pc.

Thanks mate,

Def: Nice even spread of players. No obvious weaknesses.

Mid: Very good but very expensive. Dont think it will be a realistic midfield but super strong none the less.

Ruc: Nice combo. McBean wont play for a couple of years though, he's very skinny.

Fwd: Doesnt run as deep as most due to expensive mids but still a nice spread of players.

Its a super side but unfortunatly not realistically going to fit anywhere near the salary cap. For a fanplanner team though its a 9/10

Def: Pretty strong defence. No faults

Mid: Really nice spread of mids. Leaving out Ablett a big money saver but I hope for your sake he drops in price fast.

Ruc: Great

Fwd: 3 great prem choices. Bock an obvious concern but im sure you will monitor him.

This is actually one of my favourite teams ive seen so far. It is realistic, having left just under 450k in the bank, its evenly spread and it has a great mix of players 9.5/10

Thanks for your thoughts.
McBean will help with Dpp and also captain loophole if we can use it. Not sure I like the loophole but if its there might as well use it.
Love the midfield and think it will be better to start with the best than try to afford them later. Will be cheaper to upgrade to backs and forwards. Didnt have Swan at any point last year. Have a few ideas to make the cap.
Menzel,Staker and Jaksh are also able to play forward if needed but honestly who knows who will be playing rd1. Just enjoy building a team and am missing the game.

Thanks.. If I did get rid of Bock I'm think of replacing Lecras with Staker and upgrading him to another fwd premium..

Def: No Gibbs actually stands out, any reason? Still a pretty nicely spread def and not to expensive

Mid: Like the choice of Shuey as a unique. I think he will avg 110+

Ruc: Jacobs a nice unique. Mcbean obviously there for r/f dpp but he will not play so dont rely on that.

Fwd: Really strong even without buddy

Nice side early on 9/10

In comparison to your last team you posted..
Def: A prem weaker. Not sure about starting with only 2 prems. Bock no garuntee to stay on the park and score well.
Mid: Think this is better on the pocket. Still quite expensive though
Ruc: Same prems, solid. Hard to comment on rookies just yet
Fwd: Injury cluds over both NicNat and Daisey after recent surgerys and possible doubt as to how fit they will be come round one and perhaps weather they will be ready to play or not.

Bit more cash left over makes it a bit more realistic. Still a player to heavy in the mids for mine but a solid team. If everyone was to play round 1 it would be a very good side. 8.5/10
