Caroline Wilson reported in The Age on Saturday that Sam Fisher has enjoyed a "wild holiday season" and that his place in the leadership group is under threat

It should be noted that Fisher is best mates with Dawson and Gram and has a growing friendship with Dustin Martin (judging by Twitter photos), but Leigh Montagna and Fisher's management laughed off Caro's claims today

He is a two-time Trevor Barker Award winner (B&F) and a member of the leadership group so I personally doubt that he has done anything wrong but is interesting nonetheless


Is this just Caro trying to cause a storm in a teacup, or is something really Fishy happening?

like for instance her comment about swan looking at life beyond footy, as 'if he has something better to do'


firstly, massively dogy- I think we can all agree that there are dozens of occupations that honestly serve the community better than footy. Secondly he's 29 next year... of course he should be looking at life beyond football, footballers have a very limited shelf life.
