This week we have invited close to 7 players to train with us in search of one of 3 spots left on our list (2 rookie and 1 PSD pick)

* Liam Jurrah - Starts training Wednesday

* Brent Prismall - Started training today, Essendon has said they want to re draft him, Bulldogs are also in the hunt, Bulldogs have a pick before Port and Essendon in the PSD

*Sam Colquhoun - Started training this week in hope to be drafted in the PSD

*4 or 5 Port Magpies players haven't got names yet but will post as soon as i find out

I am trying to wonder who would be better to take in the PSD Prismall or Colquhoun, If the Bulldogs don't take Prismall i have a feeling we will pick him up leaving Colquhoun open to another club. If Prismall is fully fit i feel like he is a B grade midfielder but he has suffered many setbacks during his career.

does Colquhoun go straight into the starting team this year?? If not when do you think he will be in the team by?? I ask this as there are alot of people putting Colquhoun into their fan planner teams

Noz

I don't think he will play round 1 he is fighting for spots with too many people. Jonas was elevated of the rookie list to play that half back role, Moore, Pittard are also fighting for that spot.

If we do recruit Prismall you would think Hartlett will spend the majority of the season across the half back line and depending on how our new back man recruits Heath, Hombsch and Stevenson all go during pre season the competition will be too fierce for that 2nd half back spot.

Salopex could turn into a running back man during the preseason, Stewart and Pfeiffer are still around.

From a fantasy point i don't think Colquhoun will get too many games at the start of the season. If he does i would expect the vest to be his best mate.

I thought salopek was delisted or something? You've lost jacobs as well as pearce who played more than half the season.

Noz

Yeah Pearce and Jacobs played across the half back line which is the main reason we elevated Jonas to fill that gap.

And yes apologies Salopek did indeed quit the club to explore free agency hopefully he can get picked up he still has a fair bit to give.

Mr.Craig

Not sure if it will happen but I'd certainly like to see Neade and Jurrah running around next year.
