No surprises from me mate - I have said 7th for the last few months and am sticking by my predictions.  Been documented in a number of threads.

We have an extremely favourable draw on paper (Similar to Adelaide this year) and I can see us being the dark horse for the 8.

We are a good darkhorse next year and I am predicitng an 8th spot finish.

Ricochet

who do you think will fall out of the 8 for you guys to sneak in?

Between 7-11 for me, I'll say 10th... Very competitive next year. If you assume all of last year's finalists are in finals contention next year, and add Carlton, Essendon, Richmond, Brisbane and even St. Kilda.... 13 don't fit into 8 all that well.

Guess I'm writing off Gold Coast, Melbourne, GWS, Bulldogs and Port :/

Hate to say it as they are my second team but North have a horror draw and my tip to slip from this years eight.

And there is always one team that surprises you and slips out, usually a combination of mass injuries and form

North = worst team to ever make the 8...

They lucked out this year IMO.

They did play some very good games in the second half of the season. Look at their matches against West Coast which they just lost thanks to some Dean Cox magic and they did smash Collingwood. Their midfield really played well in the second half of the year.

Mailman the 2nd

North probably the better team out of Essendon, North and Brisbane although they have a shocking draw.

I think Brisbane will be the unlucky 9th spot

Pushing to the eight. Depending on Vossys coaching tactics..

Hopefully he learned something from his overseas study tour especially Tottenham and AC Milan.

Brisbane will be the hardest team to pick next year in my opinion.  They will either prove:

a. that they are the real deal or that

b. they were overachievers this year

The consensus seems to be 7th to 12th, I said 10th. I think what you have to do is look at where they failed last season and see what they have done to improve.
Have they recruited well, are young players ready to step up, or do they need another season?
