Just thought i might point this out Liam Jurrah is also training with us this week but if we were to get him we will use one of our 2 rookie picks on Liam and not pick him up in the PSD.

I don't know why other clubs didn't pick him up but we decided not to get him due to the fact we wanted taller players and after we got the best inside mid in the draft we picked up two talls in Clurrey and Shaw.

Clubs might of been a bit scared of the fact he weighs 72kg and his light frame may take some time to build upon but shouldnt of been too much of a worry i really don't know why he wasn't drafted.

With the news Prismall s training with us i feel we will pick up Colquhoun, Jurrah and Prismall with them 3 picks.

port would be rapt if they could get this kid without using a high nat draft pick. i watched him a few times playing in Adelaide this year, seems to be a very classy user of the ball and a good young player. no idea why he would've been passed up, especially with those lower picks! ???

You'd suspect that there was more to it than them not realising that he was available at 82. 

I'm pretty sure that it was due to the fact that he didn't prove his accountability during the championships.

With that said I'm still surprised that he wasn't taken and will be surprised if he's not taken in the rookie/PSD

Skillful player and with Pete Burygone, Pearce, Cornes ect going recently he will be handy rebuilding the backline and bringing the ball out of defence

Where does he sit in line with Pittard/Hombsch/Stevenson/Campbell/Clurey? 

If this is the order I would think he's after Campbell - he's too young and needs to put some weight on.  Also needs senior experience.

Port Adelaide have genuine vacancies from last year to fill in their backline so Sam and at least 2 other defenders (Pittard and Stevenson) may have JS in the backline.
