The Fremantle Dockers three selections at tonight’s NAB AFL Draft on the Gold Coast, included highly-rated West Australian Josh Simpson with the club’s first pick (No. 17).

Very good picks in my opinion.

Simpson and Smith are both good picks IMO.  Duffy is a good player but not sure that the type of player he is, is needed at Freo.  That being said there wasnt any decent talls left (which is what we need)

Simpsons a greyhound, Freo have a bit of speed about them and if Lyon can get the laziness out of Pearce all the better. Would Freo target the homeboy Mitchell valk in the next draft or go for size, not sure how tall Mitchell is.

I dont see Freo targetting Kane Mitchell - he is an inside mid which we dont need.  We needed speed on the outside and addressed that with D Pearce, Simpson.

How many picks do you have again in the next draft, i forgot and not sure where you posted it last night, you were saying something about Lower aswell, to many beers last night mate lol.

We have 2 PSD and 2 Rookie picks left.

The club seems likely to re-take Lower and Crichton.  I would take Lower in PSD and Crichton in Rookie leaving us with 1 pick in each (or a free agent instead of PSD)
