tabs team, $179k left

Backs - Gibbs (M/B), Birchall, Grimes (M/B), Cassisi (M/B), Conca, Bock (B/F), Davis, Clurey, Jaksch
Mids - Watson, Cotchin, Thompson, Embley, Ball, Stevens, Crouch, Docherty (M/B)
Rucks - Goldstein, Leuenberger, Grundy, Rowe (R/F)
Fwds - Pavlich, Roughead (R/F), Walker, JRiewoldt, Clark, LeCras, Nicoski, Macaffer, Staker

let me here your thoughts

(this is the team i pasted in JROOs thread "Let Jroo rate your SC team!"

kilbluff1985

way to many KPP forwards imo

think Thompson getting a bit to old i started him last season didn't really impress me much

rucks standard but you think Rowe will play ?

backs pretty good but dunno about Cassisi

no Ablett or Pendles is a bit of a risk

i would ditch 3 or 2 of Roughy, Pav, JROO, Walker and Clark bring in Lewis or Zaharakis or Martin Or Robbo or Rocky or even Johnson

Capper

i have updated this team

Backs - Gibbs (M/B), Gibson, Grimes (M/B), Cassisi (M/B), Conca, Bock (B/F), Davis, Clurey, Jaksch, Docherty (M/B)
Mids - Watson, Cotchin, GAJ, Embley, Ball, Stevens, Crouch,
Rucks - Goldstein, Leuenberger, Witts, Rowe (R/F)
Fwds - Pavlich, Roughead (R/F), Robinson, JRiewoldt, Clark, LeCras, Nicoski, Macaffer, Staker (B/F)

changes:
Birchall out, Gibson in. I think with Lake coming in to take the number 1 FF this frees Gibson up to roam if he wishes to. Can only see the upside in Gibson in SC not DT though

Thomo out, GAJ in. Has to be done. I was a little sceptic about getting GAJ with his price but now with his draw he is a must

Grundy out, Witts in. Witts will see some game time this year definitely, Not too sure on Grundy as he is slipping down everyones mock draft. If he does play Rowe will be moved to the forwards and when Grundy has topped out Rowe will go to the Rucks and a new forward will be choosen. Im not too fussed in Rowe doesnt play much this year, he is cheap and DPP. In saying that though if Grundy is DPP adn starting the year then Rowe may miss out

Clurey out, O'Meara. Docherty moved back, Mids make all the money so when O'Meara has made me enough i will move Docherty to the mids
Walker out, Robbo in. Started this year like a bull running and was dogged with a hand injury for the last bit of the year. I can see Tex's price coming down a bit, so will get him as an update instead

So the structure has now changed to a 6-8-2-6 format. Here is my updated team
Salary cap left: $160,600.

Backs - Gibbs (M/B), Gibson, Grimes (M/B), Cassisi (M/B), Conca, Bock (B/F), Davis, Jaksch(B/F)
Mids - Watson, GAJ, Jack, Embley, Ball, Stevens, Crouch, O'Meara, Golds(B/M), Crosier(M/F)
Rucks - Goldstein, Leuenberger, Daw, Rowe (R/F)
Fwds - Naitanui, Roughead (R/F), Robinson, JRiewoldt, Clark, LeCras, , Macaffer, Staker (B/F)

changes:
Clurey out, Jaksch in. Purely for the DPP and Jaksch should get more game time than Clurey
Docherty out, Golds in. Docherty lost his DPP so he comes out for Golds.
Cotchin out, Jack in.This will upset alot of you but have a look at Jack's stats and the fact he start the year against GWS and GC
Witts out, Daw in. I am worried about both Witts and Daw's JS. Which ever is picked R1 will be in
Pavlich out, Naitanui in. The fact that NicNat is now DPP he is a must for SC. Will use the DPP with Rowe to move him.
Nicoski out, Crosier in. Fwd to Mid swap, Crosier picked as he has DPP

Updated team now that prices are correct
Salary cap left: $226,100.

Backs - Gibbs (M/B), Gibson, Hartlett (M/B), Golby, Plowman, Pedersen (B/R), Goodes (B/M), Jaksch(B/F)
Mids - Watson, GAJ, Jack, Ball, Stevens, Crouch, O'Meara, Mayes (F/M), Vlastuin (B/M), Viney
Rucks - Goldstein, Leuenberger, McBean (R/F), Rowe (R/F)
Fwds - Ryder, Roughead (R/F), Robinson, JRiewoldt, Zorko, Stringer, Macaffer, Staker (B/F)

changes:
Grimes out, Pederson in. Tough call but due to price went with Pedo as he should get some ruck time
Cassisi out, Hartlett in. Hartlett over Cassisi any day of the week, younger, will get more ball as well. Hopefully no hammy problems
Conca out, Golby in. Tough call here, toss of the coin at the moment.
Davis out, Goodes in. I think Goodes plays R1 and Davis doesn't
Bock out, Plowman in. Bock coming back from injury and not sure he will play back or forward
Embley out, Viney in. Viney should play R1 hopefully, loads of tallent. Embley coming back from injuiry as well
Crosier out, Mayes in. Mayes has better JS
Golds out, Vlastuin in. Vlastuin has better JS
Daw out, McBean in. Purely for DPP and McBean is slightly cheaper.
Naitanui out, Ryder in. Nicnat's groin is the issue. Ryder normally starts the season well as well.
Clark out, Zorko in. Thought Zorko would only be a mid, Clark coming back from injury made the decision easier.
Lecras out, Sringer in. Will Lecras play R1??

PICCOLLO

An ageing hayes and bolton doesnt make much sense unless your tactic is going for points early and nabbing some early fallen premos.
Not a fan of that fwd line.
Ultra unique side with potential but i think you'll be running into trouble as you only have about 9 keepers and its hard at the best of times getting a full premo side and there won't be heaps of rookies all year like 2011 and 2012.
Mcevoy, swan, jack all great picks.

Ringo

Nice unique side tabs.

Just concerned on Judes role this year being a year older will he be more a forward than a mid. Do not mind Hayes as unique though will be at an club in decline and may shine following Goddards defection.

Forward line a bit weak imo as well   maybe move Varcoe forward and get another mid rookie.  Realise he may be there for DPP but do not think it is that essential this year.

Yeah Bolton wont be there for the full year, just to start the year. Im hoping he make me some early cash even if its not much and then upgrade him. We have 30 trades now so why not blow a couple early
