How much did everyone score? I got 588.
Had Putland 55 and Reardon 62 on my bench  :'(

Popey99

I only got 417... Bloody Warner as captain... And Puland on bench... Apart from that, sceptical for Harris and Doherty, I didn't think my team went too badly... Will reconsider my list today.

Tominator

do Emergencies come into play?

I had Coyte who didn't play but Putland on my bench

Tominator

Pete Handscomb worth hanging on to with the double GW (and the fact he's keeping) or is Joe Burns worth pouncing on

Bare in mind I am trading two more Stars players next week (one to Reardon, one to Pollard)

KoopKicka

Finished on 533, not too shabby, current team

1. Gayle
2. Ferguson
3. Finch
4. Hodge
5. Hussey
6. Pollard
7. Haddin
8. Cutting
9. Nannes
10. Hogg
11. McKay

12. Reardon
13. O'Brien
14. Hartley
15. Putland

MTTY

Finished on 623 for the week.

Tominator

479 and that includes a -40 from Warner

Warner (C) (-40)
Finch (163)
Quiney (5)
Hodge (60)

Hussey (VC) (54)
Hopes (41)

Haddin (71)

Faulkner (20)
Cutting (38)
Beer (12)
Putland (55)

Handscomb (0)
Hastings (0)
Triffitt (-20)
Coyte (0)

Mr. Smith

Finished on 546

Current team is:

Finch, Hodge, Khawaja, Ferguson (Gayle)
Hussey, Wright (Hopes)
Paine (Hartley)
Malinga, Lee, Nannes, Putland (Cutting)

Have 4 Stars on the DGW, I'll be sticking with Hussey as Captain again. Gayle will come straight in. Lee has the week off. I'll look to set up for the Perth DGW and bring in Voges for Ferguson, as I currently have no Scorchers. Not sure if I'll use the other trade or save it. I have in mind a Lee to Hogan trade, but I'd like to see Hogan go around again.

Hey our FANY FOOTY league (211236) is ranked in the top 157 of 4155

I think that a solid first round effort.

Lets put our heads together and see how High we can go!  8)

Here's my input anyway.

LOCK - Coulter-Nile played a pinch hitting role and will bowl 4overs

LOCK - Aaron Finch (speaks for itself)

LOCK - Tim Paine and/or Brad Haddin (opening the bat)

Personally I liked the form of;

Steve Smith (who looked like he could of got 1000!)

Dirk Nannes (they could barely hit him and same for;

Saeed Ajmal (who will be hard to play with any pitch assitance)

I am not sure if Gayle should come straight in or not, contemplating risking him for one game here on aussie soi

Thoughts?

That ends one disasterous week :-[

Botha Captain and he comes on to make a whole 5 runs ::)

Batting all-rounders tend to score higher, dependant on where they come in of course. Botha is a bowling all-rounder.

That was Ajmal's only game. He has already gone back to Pakistan.

I'm not to happy with the scoring, Nannes goes 4 overs for 16 and scores only 20 ???

Anyway I am trading Botha, can't have a 110k bloke coming in when the innings is over so...

do I get Huss, Wright or Smith? Leaning to Wright

Steve Smith looked phenomenal, but they have the bye this week.

Ok guys, need some help... I have a few problems, will go through each position.

Batsmen:
Gayle/Birt: Can't make my mind up between these two. Just can't... Thinking Birt by a smidgen due to him being more of a POD...
Finch: What can I say, just a gun. No problems here.
Harris: Underperformed. Might give him another chance, but considering there are only 8 rounds of this thing I need to catch up quick smart...
Klinger: Was Ok... Still see more upside to come
Khawaja: On the bench, but there were a few better cheap options.

All rounders:
Hussey: Wasn't his absolute best, but was still good
Pollard: Comes in for his first game, hope he goes bang!!
Hopes: Same as Hussey...

Keepers:
Haddin: Hads did well for me and about 99% of he other coaches in the comp...
Hartley: Didn't score a point... Batted a no.9!! Although should open from now on considering Watson is out.

Bowlers:
Faulkner: Wasn't great but has the double this week so obviously won't be traded.
Doherty: Hmmm... Far from his best... Willing to give him another crack though.
Beer: Read Doherty.
Cutting: Great work from the big fella, one of the better bowlers of the week.
Putland: Same here. Was great for the Strikers. Shoulda had him on he field.

So I plan to trade one of Doherty/Beer depending on who does the least next match to one of Tremain/ Mennie/ Hogan depending on who does the most. But that means this week I have one trade to use after that of the W word to Gayle/ Birt. Thoughts? Maybe Harris to Voges? Or Burns/Reardon? Even maybe Beer to Tremain this week, who seems a great option in a weak outfit.

THOUGHTS??!!
