Jayman's Thoughts

Danny Stanley is well and truly, a premium forward. An average of 90 at ust age 24 is very impressive. He was also very consistent only dropping below 80, 3 times. I expect him to lift his output again in 2013 with another pre-season under his belt and as many of his team-mates start to play better footy.

Jayman's Verdict

Cant go wrong if you select this guy - will not let you down, so perfect if you are just looking for a consistent 85-95 forward. He is quite highly priced considering he only played just over half the season but I can not see his 479k price tag going down too much. I am unsure whether I will start with him, as always, there are many other good options, but I know I certainly would not be disappointed. He bumped his average up from 78 to 90 from 2011 'till now and I predict we will see another rise like that in 2013.

Jayman's Prediction

An average of 95ppg for Stanley in 2013

Nice work Jay.

Stanley is a very solid and safe pick. His consistency is appealing, but probably a better upgrade target as he wont drop or rise too much in value.

Could see him pushing close to 100ppg this year. On my watch list.

2015 Brownlow Medalist
you sure mate?
No, Not really
Yeah I wouldn't of thought so mate. Pretty silly post. There will obviously be plenty of better players than Stanley come 2015. How about Dangerfield? Cotchin? Fyfe? Beams? Pendlebury?

Not really sure why, maybe just a gut hunch or a moment of temporary (I hope) insanity but I keep on coming back to him. With me I think it comes down to Broughton, Heppell and D Stanley and leaning toward Stanley. But buggered if I know why, might just be one of those gut hunches Ringo mentions. Thought I read somewhere he would get some midfield time this year. Cheers.
