Think it is about time we started up a thread to talk about all things A-League!

This is, so far, the best season of A-League yet, by a long way.
The quality is up, goals are a plenty and we're not getting those showerty nill all draws with bugger all chances that we used to.

I also wanted to say, how farking good is Alessandro Del Piero?
2 absolutely quality goals last night. We are not worthy of a guy that good. Currently a one man team at Sydney. I wonder if he can coach as well? :P

20 minutes into the Victory vs Central Coast game right now and it's 1-1.
Rojas was brilliant in setting the equaliser 8)

Glory is a disgrace. 59% possession, 25 shots (to 8), 11 corners (to 2), 320 passes (to 184), 40 CROSSES (to 12), and they had ten men too. If we had competent attackers instead of spuds like Mehmet, Dodd, Jamieson, Ward, and not to mention Zahra who MISSED AN OPEN GOAL.

Next week don't play with wingers. Not one of our 40 crosses came close to giving us a goal. Play 4-3-3, McGarry, Burns and Miller in CM with Smeltz, Harold and Mehmet up forward.

And did anyone see that tackle (can't remember who), in the Sydney vs Heart game? Was terrible and severely injured the Heart player... but still there was not even a yellow card :o
