Mike Hussey or Michael Clarke?
I may be biased because Huss is my favourite player...I know Hussey hadn't played as long for AUS, but I think it would've been a nice gesture for a couple years until he retired. and he also averaged 80 odd in his first 2-3 years of playing for AUS. Hindsight is good-because of Clarke scoring 4 double tons a year after he got skipper, but you never know what could have been.

Clarke. was VC for ages and deserved the captaincy. plus he was my boy before he played for Australia, said to all me mates that he'd be the next captain of Australia. pretty chuffed 8)

That's a tough one. Future vs present. Based off what he's shown to date and how big a fan I am of him compared to the other, Mitch Marsh for me.
