Mostly the book in my experience:
A Clockwork Orange, The Great Gatsby, The Book Thief, Harry Potter (even tho I'm not a huge fan of either). There's a few exceptions tho like No Country for Old Men and The Road (no offence Cormac, but the films are ace)
