Jayman's Thoughts:

Bartel has been a great fantasy scorer for many years now, but this year there is something different. He has now gained a mid/fwd DPP. This makes him more desirable prospects for coaches seeking a premium forward. 2012 was the first time since the 2005 season that Bartel has not averaged 100+ so signs are saying he is on the downhill along with many other aging cats.

Jayman's Verdict

He is premium-priced, as he should be but I cant help but think that will drop a fraction (he was at 460k at the end of the season). He may be a forward line upgrade target for me

Jayman's Prediction

I predict a 95 average for Jimmy

Will you be taking him?

Might just be me and I might be wrong, but Dane Swan spent more time forward than the great Jimmy,

Nice work Jay.

Jimmy will be an upgrade target for me - cant see much value in him with his scores declining each year since 2007. Role is a little unknown too.

As a fwd on the radar, but only due to the lack of great forward options under 30 years old. Still a no for me to begin with as at best I think he may maintain his price, making him an upgrade option.

Will certainly consider him. Probably better kept tucked away as an upgrade target though
