Hey Bombers fans here's my opinion on your best 22 for next year!

Full backs Kyle Hardingham Cale Hooker Dustin Fletcher
Half backs Michael Hibberd Jake Carlisle Courtenay Dempsey
Centres Dyson Heppell Jobe Watson Brent Stanton
Half forwards David Zaharakis Michael Hurley Stewart Crameri
Full forwards Alwyn Davey Paddy Ryder Leroy Jetta
Rucks Tom Bellchambers Brendan Goddard Ben Howlett
Bench Joe Danniher Heath Hocking David Myers sub Jake Melksham
Emergencies NLM  David Hille Tayte pears. Elliot Kavanagh

Still think Hurley should be moved to the backline but atm this is your strongest team i reckon. With Danniher coming in Ryder may move to chf and hurley to full back so you can finally offload Hooker haha but who knows.

What are your opinions guys? Feel free to post your own team, The Bombers are going to be very strong in 2013

Hooker is a better player player then people think give him a chance

Swap Goddard with Watson, Howlett and Watson are our clearance players

Joe wont be in our best 22 every week

Melksham is not the right player for the sub

FB: Fletcher, Carlisle, Hibberd
HB: Heppell, Hurley, Browne
C: Goddard, Stanton, Dempsey
HF: Zaharakis, Gumbleton, Crameri
FF: Jetta, Ryder, O'Brien
R: Bellchambers, Watson, Myers

INT: Howlett, Melksham, Pears, (NLM)

EMG: Hocking, Daniher, Dalgeish.

Hocking unlucky, if he got to play as an attacking player instead of a tagger then he'd probably come in. Hooker unlucky as well, but our forward line is loaded so Hurls can go back and he is probably 3rd or 4th in line once/if that happens.

Would also like to see Merrett, Kavanagh, Colyer and Dell given more opportunities in 2013.

no Hardingham?
Much prefer Browne over Hardy but could definitely argue that he comes in for Browne or even just as an EMG instead of Dalgeish.

Nothing wrong with me I just prefer Browne to Hardy... ???

Could bring him in for Pears as well if you wanted to, wanted a bit more height on the bench but given Hardy is so good overhead probably wouldn't hurt that much.

Maca24

Not sure Sid.
Think I prefer Hardy way more over Browne, although the kid has shown potential I don't see him as a walk up starter.
Gumbleton can GTFO, Pears down back and Hurley up forward for me.
Also, why so much hate from everypne towards Cale Hooker? His not that bad.
I wouldn't have Myers on ball either, not sure if he has the pace and tank. Prefer Howlett or Melksham.

Fletch74

Not sure what you have against Gumbleton Maca. He's better than Hooker IMO. Hurley down back is the way to go.

I agree though that Hardingham should be in for Browne.

IMO one of Davey and Jetta need to go, bring Melksham on the ground and make Natrat the sub

Pretty much agree with this. Obviously it depends on the opposition but Browne is a better rebound player so fits in better over Hardy who can't kick.

We need Hardingham for his marks and spoils down back he plays a similar role to Gibson he will get better and better at it

We have Hurley/Hooker, Fletcher, Carlisle, Hibberd are all strong aerially...Not like we 'need' it.

I mean yes he has something to offer but I don't think he's a walk up. :-X

i would say Hardy is a walk up for sure always puts in the effort to come 3rd man in and spoil he wont get dropped at all in 2013 unless he gets injured

shorty3264

Hurley for centre half-back or centre half-forward? mixed views everywhere, he's building up his endurance and losing a few kilo's already, suggests he wont be playing on the power forwards. thoughts??
