The number of times you pass in the International draft = the number of selections you get in the preseason draft. Plus an extra pick if you've demoted a player to the rookie list.

The preseason draft will include all left overs from the international draft, preseason and rookies. Rookies selected here will be senior listed (as all players selected in the rookie draft will be rookie listed).

Round 1
1. Moscow - Sam Colquhoun
2. New York - Craig Moller
3. Beijing - Kane Mitchell
4. PNL - Leigh Osborne
5. Cairo - Brett Goodes
6. Tokyo - Will Hams
7. Pacific - Nathan Stark
8. London - Jaryd Cachia
9. Wellington - Jack Hannath
10. Toronto - Nick Hayes
11. Moscow - Callum Sinclair
12. Sao Paulo - Kyle Martin
13. Cape Town - Sam Dwyer
14. Mexico City - Tim McGennis

Round 2
15. Dublin - Andrew Boston
16. Seoul - Jake Lloyd
17. Mexico City - Justin Hoskin

THE RULES

- You have 24 hours to pick. If you are online during your 24 hour period, you have 2 hours to pick from the list.
- If you miss your pick, you get auto-picked the highest draft pick. If you get auto-picked, you only have 12 hours to make next pick. If that is auto-picked, all your picks from then on will be autopicked and you need to explain why you missed.
- You can choose to autopick. Let me know in advance
- The number of 'passes' you do is equal to the number of picks you have in the preseason draft. You may also get a pick in the preseason draft if AFTER the draft you choose to rookie list any of your players.
- Enjoy!

Hi guys, just should remind everyone that the 33,000 salary cap is still in force. For most, this won't matter.

Points:

18748 - Beijing Bears
26050 - Berlin Brewers
32212 - Buenos Aires Armadillos
30970 - Cairo Sands
28203 - Cape Town Cobras
21986 - Dublin Destroyers
28049 - London Royals
31391 - Mexico City Suns
26406 - Moscow Spetsnaz
23674 - New Delhi Tigers
24217 - New York Revolution
20389 - Pacific Islanders
28109 - PNL Reindeers
31572 - Sao Paulo Pumas
27328 - Seoul Magpies
29832 - Tokyo Samurai
28891 - Toronto Wolves
22885 - Wellington Warriors

Most players to be drafted have a score of 0, so you don't need to worry about those. Players that do have points are:

Mark Austin   506
Nathan Brown   490
Thomas Jonas   320
Mark Whiley   74
Aiden Riley   69
Marcus Davies   65
Sam Schulz   35
Cameron Hitchcock   25
Bradley Helbig   16
Lincoln McCarthy   12

You can still pick these players, you just can't go over 33,000 points. If they go over, your pick will not count and you will have to pick again. For most, not an issue.

If we don't have 41 players does that mean we get extra picks?

At the end of the draft, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, sorry guys, I know its confusing.

You don't get any picks in the preseason draft, unless you have less than 41 players.

If you have 7 spots free (34 players), you get 7 picks in the International draft. If you use them all, you get 0 picks in the preseason. If you pass on 4 picks in the International, you get 4 picks.

So if we have 34 players and 5 picks, do we then get 2 extra picks at the end of the International draft?

If you have 34 players you get 7 picks - even if you only have 5 picks listed in the International Draft, the extra 2 picks will come in the 6th and the 7th round of the International draft. Only allowed the first five rounds of draft pick to be tradeable because it starts getting ridicolous trading picks 146 and 238.

This is how it is done in the AFL. You get picks based on the number of senior spots you have vacant. Which is why some teams go to 'round 9', and some teams only round 3.

The final international draft order will be released once list lodgements are done....

Hi all! Have asked everybody to submit your rookie demotions. The rookies announced are:

Beijing - Aaron Cornelius
Cairo - Harrison Marsh
Cape Town - Blaine Wilson
Dublin - Jesse Hogan
London - Lachlan Dalgleish
Mexico City - Tom Curren
Moscow - George Burbury
New York - Brant Colledge
Pacific - Tom Nicholls
PNL - Brad McKenzie
Sao Paulo - Peter Yagmoor
Seoul - Jay Lever
Tokyo - Luke Mitchell
Toronto - Tom Curran
Wellington - Patrick Wearden

The other 6 coaches haven't said they want to rookie list anyone in advance.

The 12 here get an extra pick in the preseason draft :)

Will start the draft soon, so if you want to rookie list someone, say so ASAP

Think the International draft went well! Thanks all for being so quick with your picks

Btw - Mexico rookie listing Tom Curren and Toronto rookie listing Tom Curran confused me for a bit lol.

Maybe since he would then have to use one of his draft picks next year to promote him, and so would prefer to use that pick on bringing in a new player?

forgot about that, perhaps i shouldnt have rookie listed hogan than

It would be your last pick in the draft - may give people the oppurtunity to promote mid-year also.

ossie85

And Cairo have rookie listed Harrison Marsh (noting that MajorLazer might change this as it was NigelS decision - I don't really have an issue with that... ML has limited time to change his mind also)

JBs-Hawks

Rookie listing Cornelius is interesting
