Coles or Woolworths?

I am really starting to struggle with the status quo bakground jingle on its continuous loop when in my local coles.
Woolies gets vote because it must have better background muzak.

I support the underdogs against the duopoly and do a fair bit at IGA.

Don't like what either of them are doing to local businesses, because they are bombarding us with more and more Home Brand stuff, but Coles is worse so I like Woolies more....

having said that my mum does the grocery shopping  ::)

Coles has gone from a 5-1 lead to a 6-8 2nd place...  :o

Mum always tells me Coles in general is cheaper so that's why I've learnt to love Coles... that and it's just better on the whole.

coles - i prefer their discounting method in a %, on meat etc, it generally seems cheaper when you get things they mark down as opposed to how woolies does it.

you can tell i had a wife and 5 kids to feed!

also prefer to get my fuel at shell than caltex, don't know why probably from when i used motorpass for a previous company caltex didn't accept it or charged a surcharge and that showered me.

Yeah my missus does most at Foodland, followed closely by IGA. As for the big two, she said depends on their specials at the time, and if we need those particular specials
