Trio invited to train

I understand now. None of the blokes who are training with us have entered the National Draft, but rather are hoping we'll pick them up in the next DFA which starts the day after the draft!

That means hopefully we'll get the guys we want without them being poached by other clubs.

In other news, it's being reported that Richmond, St Kilda and Norths are most likely going to be the home of Ben Jacobs, with St Kilda having two picks in between our first and second picks. Can't see why they wouldn't pick him up but who knows, he might slip through to us!

Didn't actually realise there was another DFA after the draft. Good chance to snare whoever if that's the case!

The Saints are keen and their two picks between before our second pose as a problem. Not the end of the world if we don't get him, but can't complain if we do.

Toy was a really talented junior and heard that if he entered the draft in 2010, he could have been the number 1 draft pick ahead of David Swallow  :o

Clearly the heart thing isn't too much of an issue, with monitoring and care, he could be elite.

Looks like one of Wood or Stephenson may join us in the next DFA after all. I'm assuming it will depend on whoever performs better during this off-season/pre-season.
