The spots we freed up on our list:

1. Knights
2. Chaplin
3. Edwards
4. Pick #9
5. Pick #29
6. Pick #31
7. Pick #50
8.
9.

So it all depends on how many Nat Draft picks we use i guess... but at the moment we have 6 spots available on our list.
Sign Wood as a delisted FA and pick up Toy in the PSD and rookie Petterd. A no to Mini Maric and Orren
Maybe pick Jacobs with one of those middle round draft picks aswell.
Yer hopefully we can take Jacobs at #34

Who are the other 2 rookies on our list?

Who are the other 2 rookies on our list?
Steven Verrier
Ben Darrou
Can't see either of them getting a game, although I'll be happy to be proven wrong if they are worthy.

I have heard Verrier is alright, but not much on Darrou. But it will be hard for them to get a game in our strong line up  ;)

Especially with a fit Grimes and the inclusion of Chaplin.

I've heard Verrier's a gun, but with our list getting stronger, it'll be tough for him. I think we'll go into the PSD with two picks, like Toga listed. Use our first 4(?) picks and that should leave us with two picks thereafter. Rookie listing Petterd, PSD pick on Toy, probably our first pick after 9 on Jacobs, sounds like a plan. Hope that happens, still would ideally like Seaby. I guess I can't go past my irrational loathing of Wood.

We still have 4 people who can ruck. Maric, Vickery, Derickx...and as a last resort, Elton. But that won't happen. Vickery will be a forward and Derickx will be made Maric's back-up.

Toga

Wait I think I flowered up with that list before, didn't have the right picks on it. But this is what I think will probably happen:

1. Chris Knights
2. Troy Chaplin
3. Aaron Edwards
4. Pick #9
5. Pick #32 (Possibly Benny Jacobs)
6. Pick #34
7. Pick #43 -> Josh Toy
8. Pick #92 -> Ricky Petterd
9. Pick #110 -> Cam Wood

That's assuming the club likes what they see in these blokes training with us, and that other teams don't swoop on blokes that we're looking at like Port did last year.

Also, has anyone checked out the Draft Machine on AFL.com?

I know its probably not accurate because its got every man and his dog voting in it, but i found it interesting that it lists us as likely to take Vlastuin with Pick #9.

Also, Macrae has slipped down to #24 :o

I like the look of that list, Toga. It seems like it could end up that way. Vlastuin's a quality player and I'd say probably a top 15 pick (feel free to argue against that as I'm no draftee expert). He does fit in to the Richmond team and would be the second ranga we've drafted in 3 years :P I'd say the three players we're vying for with pick 9 are Stringer (if he lasts), Vlastuin and Macrae. I like Menzel, but doubt we'll take him.

Nige

Draft Machine also has Liam McBean, Clay Cameron, Jason Pongracic and James Stewart as 4th round picks when surely they're all likely to go higher than that.

...and it has us getting Joel Tippett with 43.

Flogs! Flogs everywhere...  :o

Yeah I think he's likely to go top 15, but could slip down closer to 20 given the strength of the draft. Bit surprised to see him in the top 10, although he does have big raps on him and apparently he's a good leader.

But yeah I agree with you there that we'll be looking hard at Stringer, Macrae and Vlastuin.

True, the strong draft could mean he slips. I'm looking at the way people have picked the Draft Machine and I haven't stopped shaking my head...clueless lot, I tell ya!

Lol someone wrote on the Richmond FB page:

Toy is a yes, but no to the other two. Would rather see Kingy piggy back on Nahas.

Made me laugh haha :D

Don't even get me started on some of the flog-ish comments and things I've seen on Facebook haha!
