These latest spammimg have highlighted the need for extra mods Monty. Both HP and Hawka have a life today and as a result reporting of spam currently going on still no action.

Monty as a suggestion is it possible to give mods ban/deletion powers for 24 hrs pending review by yourself,

Is it possible to say have an additional button notify as Spam which flows straight through to yourself or assistants so accounts be stopped immediately.  It is very frustrating finding spam in some of your own threads.

Ringo brings a good point.

One of the issues with a new mod is having to make sure they fit under certain criteria etc. etc.

If you just give 4-5 regulars (such as Ringo himself) powers to delete posts that have been reported then the problem will reduce dramatically

then it becomes a popularity contest i don't like it mods are chosen for reasons other then being popular just let mOnty choose them if he wants info on members he can ask HP about them

I think it should just be done the same as last time Monty just picks them if someone doesn't want to do it he just asks the next person .
