ALREADY looking to secure Port Adelaide's Ben Jacobs, North Melbourne has turned its attention to a young Sun.
Taylor Hine, a promising midfielder and tagger, has refused to sign a one-year deal to remain with Gold Coast and is firmly on the Kangaroos' radar.
It is believed the Kangaroos are willing to draft the former Calder Cannon in the national or pre-season drafts.
Hine impressed North when the two teams met in round 12 at Metricon Stadium.

Jacobs will leave the Power and has been linked to North for several weeks.
The Power and Kangaroos failed to broker a deal during the trade period.
The Power, already with selections seven, 30 and 31, had wanted North's first-round selection, No. 15 overall, but the Kangaroos were only willing to deal their second-round selection. Jacobs, managed by leading agent Paul Connors, was the No. 16 selection in the 2010 draft and has managed 26 senior matches, including 14 this year.
The left-footer is now expected to nominate for the national draft on November 22 but is no guarantee of joining North, for Essendon and St Kilda have also expressed interest in him.

What do you reckon is more likely either the roos picking him(Jacobs) with their first round pick or waiting out until the second round?

If i were Jacobs i would nominate for the pre season draft North should not use pick 15 on Jacobs.

Do the GC get anything for Hine? He won't get games at North... So the move is not smart.

roo boys!

Nah not if he walks out on them then GC don't get anything.

We won't use pick 15 on Jacobs...seems likely that Ess or StK will probably take him with their second round picks before ours but hopefully not. Hine is a handy pick-up if we get him.

He's a half back/back pocket. North have stacked with them.

9 games for GC in 2 years and his JS isnt any better than at North.

Very strange move

Why would GC get anything for him if he's delisted?
And heard rumours that Hine could join North during trade week, so looks like they where right
