Tried to update my team a bit, pretty happy, decided to cancel out some risks and add in a couple of other risks. As Hartlett is rumoured to be a MID/DEF he'd slot straight in for Gibbs and then i'd put Dohetry instead of Pittard/Heath for bye balance.
Ants AllStars Salary cap left: $100. (pushing it fine lol)

Brendon Goddard, Beau Waters, Bryce Gibbs, Jack Grimes, Campbell Heath, Nathan Bock, Cameron Pedersen
Jasper Pittard, Brent Staker

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Trent Cotchin, Nathan Fyfe, Lachlan Whitfield, Koby Stevens
Jordan Gysberts, Jack Viney

Nic Naitanui, Matthew Leuenberger
Joe Daniher, Majak Daw

Lance Franklin, Taylor Walker, David Zaharakis, Richard Douglas, Stefan Martin, Mark LeCras, Daniel Menzel
Thomas Schneider, Jesse Hogan
Nice backline, I like the selection of Bock, Pedersen and Heath, they will all be good cash cows and 1/3 could become keepers. The rest are all safe picks and I would bring Hartlett in.
Midfield is strong and I like it. Fyfe and Cotchin are two young stars in the making and will only continue to improve. Stevens and Gysberts will get game time at their new clubs and will make a lot of $$$.
Rucks are pretty safe in Nic Nat and Berger.
I like your forward line, Douglas and Martin are good unique picks (I hope you saw my Douglas player profile) and Walker and Zaha are two young guns who will continue to improve also. LeCras could turn into a keeper.
Nice team Ant, I rate it a 8/10

Nice looking team Felsty!
Backline is good and you have 5 premiums and Pedersen could potentially be one if he gets back to his 2011 form.
Midfield is great, but leaving Gazza out of risky! Mundy is a gun and a very good unique pick! Cotchin and Murphy needs no explaining as they will be guns.
Rucks are pretty similair to everyone else and are safe.
Nice forward line and Bartel is a great uqniue pick. Bock and LeCras are potential keepers and Maccaffer will make you a lot of cash if he gets games. Buddy, Stevei J and Zahah are also good choices.
Nice team I rate it a 8/10

TheAnt

Yep it made me pick Douglas, don't want to take in too many of these players coming off blown knees and legs.

Hello old boy,

'tis a sign of the times that the only St Kilda player you could fit in was Goddard!

No Milne, no Riewoldt, no Ledger!!  ::) - No Balls!

Broughton  - short term memory loss?

No - good team.

Leuenberger - injury prone?

Bartel getting past it?

Heppell overrated and probably overpriced?

Love most of your premiums but worry about SJ and no GAJ!!!

No room for Danger?

PS Want to help me coach a XV side?

felsty

Hey Doc what's been happening?
Ill pass on the XV team but cheers!
Yeah no doubt ill change my team a million times
May drop one of Broughton or Heppell for GAJ later but love the unique pick in Mundy and the money it frees up!
Also hearing that the 2012 SC winner started without GAJ made me think it might be the way to go!

tor01doc

I get the concept of no GAJ but he is the best. ( By the way, that little black dot is a FULL STOP )

Stay well.

Quack quack

G'day Jroo.

I'd love your rating on where this is at. I've been selecting and moifying according to the profiles as they come up, so can lose track of myself, sometimes.

Cheers

Ok Frank, nice team.
Backline is pretty strong. You have 4 guns and Russell, and Pedersen are potential keepers. Not sure on Dale Morris. He is 30 and coming back from a broken leg and is a key defender so doesn't score well anyway.
Midfield is very very very strong! 6 guns in there plus you got Ball on the bench so nearly 7 guns in your midfield. Personally I would trade Ball to a rookie and upgrade Kerridge in your forward line.
Rucks are solid and Nic Nat is a superstar.
Forwards are pretty weak though. Every single player in your forward line are risky picks and you only have 1 gun in Cloke who isn't the best scorer. But all of Knights, Monfries, LeCras and Varcoe could all be keepers which would be handy. But you definitely need at leat 1, if not 2 guns up forward.
I would suggest downgrading Barlow and Morris to rookies. Then upgrading Kerridge and Menzel to forward premiums and your team would be set.
Nice team Frank, I will give it a 8/10
Very strong in every line except up forward.

Have a look at this please JROO.

Def: Goddard, Gibbs, Grimes, Heppell, Broughton, Bock, Pedersen, (Docherty, Pittard/Coloquhoun)
Mid: Pendlebury, Cotchin, Mundy, Fyfe, Ball, O'Meara (Crouch, Viney)
Ruc: Mumford, Leuenberger, (Daniher, Daw/Witts)
Fwd: Franklin, Bennell, Johnson, Zaharakis, LeCras, Rohan, Varcoe, (Macaffer, Rowe/Stringer)
Cash Left: $187,000.

The plan is that if Fyfe is named a fwd also I would get rid of Buddy and Bring in GAJ.
Unsure with a few rookies. Especially last ruck and forward possies as Rowe could still be out for a while, but I like his DDP and the fact I could exploit the captaincy loophole if we were to have a rolling lockout next year.
Would love to have Gray there instead of Rohan, but I can always bring him in at round 5/6  if Rohan bombs.
Defence is almost set and forget except for Pedersen and maybe Broughton, because I believe he has the potential to avg 100+ but could also go down to 80-.

Nice team, a few uniques there!
Backline is nice! Pretty strong 4 guns and Broughton,Bock,Pedersen could all become keepers and are good cheaper options.
Midfield is good, but you need GAJ. Mundy and Fyfe are two good unique picks and Ball is a good pick.
Your one of the first people who doesn't have the Nic Nat/Goldy + Berger combo and I like Mumford. If he can stay fit he is a good player and a good unique pick.
Forward line is strong. 4 guns and LeCras and Varcoe could also both be guns at the end of the year. I think Rohan has a lot of potential and a big chance to break out in 2013.
Nice team, I rate it a 8/10

kilbluff1985

mate i don't think Sam Rowe will be playing next season

'Early in the 2012 season, Rowe was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He had an operation to remove the lump in late April, and will undergo chemotherapy in May and June. Rowe hopes to be healthy to return to training in the 2013 preseason.'
