Be as brutal as you want, I like making my teams different. 8)
Wow ML, very unique but I actually like most of it.
Backline is very good! Hurn and Hanley great unique picks, while Broughton and Heppell are good options. Not sure on Aylett though.
Very unique midfield! Lids, Jack and Swallow will be good scorers and Ball is a good option.
Rucks are great, Maric and Jacobs are very nice picks and surprised to why everyone is going with Nic Nat and Goldy.
Nice forward line but think you have to many risky mid pricers. Bruest and Howe are good players but not sure how they will go on SC. The rest of the forward line is good.
But leaving out all of Ablett, Goddard and Pendles/Swan is pretty risky.
Nice team ML, though I rate it a 8/10

Cheers JROO, in advance.
Backline is strong. Goddard, Gibbs and Grimes all safe picks. Lake a little risky, but. could improve at the Hawks. Atley will be a gun, but not sure how he will go in SC.
Midfield is very strong! Kennedy is a great unique pick, while Ball is a good chocie and I believe he can get back to his best. Ablett, Cotchin and Murphy are all safe opinions.
Rucks are nice and similar to a lot of teams.
Forwards could do with 1 more premium and I would take Gray out as he will probably miss the first few rounds. Bennell, Goodes and LeCras are good choices.
Nice team MTTY, I rate it a 7.5/10

Thought I would post an initial team here for comment:

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, J. Grimes, G. Broughton, M. Golby, N. Bock, C. Pedersen (T. Golds, S. Docherty)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Cotchin, K. Jack, B. Moloney, L. Ball, J. Gysberts (A. Morabito, J. O'Meara)
RUC: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger (S. Rowe, J. Witts)
FWD: L. Franklin, Q. Lynch, H. Bennell, M. Clark, S. Martin, R. Gray, M. LeCras (J. Stringer, B. Staker)
CASH LEFT: $45,900

Tried to find a few uniques:
Golby I think will be the Hanley of 2013
Moloney is speculative and hoping he can reagin favour and form at a new club.
Morabito will be a sound pick and be a good cash cow hopefully.
Have always rated Jack and has been a nice unique over the last 2 years.
Lynch will be out to impress at Pies
Stefan Martin will have the opportunities at Lions with teams continuing to double and triple tag Brown. Also a DPP to ruck if needed with Rowe.

Team will no doubt change when prices come out rookies finalised and looking at byes -

Current Byes: 2/2/5 - 3/2/3 - 1/1/2 - 4/2/2 = 10/7/12 not looking good for either Round 11 or 13

Doing a great job Jroo.  Will start rating teams myself later on
Thanks Ringo, nice team.
Backline is pretty good and Goddard, Gibbs and Grimes are all safe options. Broughton, Bock and Pedersen could all become premiums and are notice choices. Goldy is a little risky, but definitely a chance for a break out year.
Midfield is strong as well and Jack is a very good unique pick. Ball and Moloney are 2 good cheaper options.
Rucks are nice and like the pick of Goldstein.
Forwards are very good but not sure on Quinten Lynch, being a key forward is inconsistent and I would take Gray out if he isn't named in round 1. Martin is a good chocie and is a great pick up for the Lions.
Nice team Ringo, I rate it a 7.5/10

Nice team Nigey.
Backline is good and I like the selection of Broughton, Hanley and Pedersen.
Midfield is very strong and I like it. Danger is a good unique pick and Ball is a good cheap option. The rest are all safe options.
Ruckline is pretty safe as well and most teams have similar ruck lines.
Forwards line is nice. 4 premiums and wouldn't be surprised if Knights and if LeCras turn into premiums. Wright is a good unique pick and I reckon he will improve again this year.
Nice team Nigey, I rate it a 8.5/10

Thanks for the rate and advice, took it on and improved it. Gotta wait for the draft on Thursday and see what goes down. That'll help shape it.

Yeah i like Atley as a potential breakout and think Drummond could have a big influence on upping his efficiency this year.

Still a wait and see for me with Gray but if he is out i'll most likely up that spot to a premo.

Nice team I reckon it's better than before.
Rance, and Roughead are great unique picks!
Backs are very strong, midfield is pretty strong and like the pick of Fyfe.
Rucks are unique as a lot of people have the Nic Nat/Berger or Goldy/Berger combo.
Forwards are pretty strong as well, 4 guns + 2 potential keepers in LeCras and Varcoe. Not sure Daniher will play over 10-12 games next year, but will be handy with the fwd/ruck DPP!
I like your team, I rate it a 8.5/10

Tyanks JRoo.  Toying with swapping Bennell with S Martin, D Swallow and Gazza could well reduce his opportunities. Also thinking K Jaksch out and N Bock in. That could give me a def that I could set and forget til byetime. What do you thimk ? Oh yes thanks on behalf of all us footy tragics   ;) :) :) :)

Thanks Sabertooth!
Well I reckon Martin can average 85-90 this year and will play some good footy at the Lions and I would downgrade Bennell to Martin if it means you could upgrade Jacksch to Bock. This is what I said about Jacksch in my SC phantom draft.
QuoteCan go forward take a grab and kick a goal, which will get you some nice SuperCoach scores. If he is given games early then consider, but I believe it will be tough for Jacksch to break into the Lions line up straight away, barring injuries.

Tried to update my team a bit, pretty happy, decided to cancel out some risks and add in a couple of other risks. As Hartlett is rumoured to be a MID/DEF he'd slot straight in for Gibbs and then i'd put Dohetry instead of Pittard/Heath for bye balance.
