Well the Cup Quarterfinals are done and dusted and so we are back in to the league action. Seven rounds in and we have all played each other once, and sees The Flippin' Pancakes hold a 3 point lead over 4 other teams. At the other end of the table new coach VSA has a lot of work to do with YNWA Warriors who sit bottom, but equal on points with last years grand finalist Scaling Saints. Still 21 games before the league finals so everyone still in with a shot :)

Round 8 Fixtures
The Brown Trumpets vs Scaling Saints @ Stadium of Brass
The Casserole Kids vs The Flippin' Pancakes @ Steamy Kitchen
Blue Mountain State vs KKS United @ The Goat House
Goodfellas vs YNWA Warriors @ Old Trafford

How they fared last time...
• In a rematch from last years grand final The Brown Trumpets again emerged victorious defeating Scaling Saints 57 to 47 away from home.
• The Flippin' Pancakes had an easy time of it against The Casserole Kids defeating them 59 to 26, but are out of form at the moment, whilst The Casserole Kids are up and down depending on how Rooney performs...
• Blue Mountain State defeated a weak KKS United 68 to 40 last time out, but BMS are struggling for points at the moment, whilst KKS United are going strong.
• The in-form team at the moment Goodfellas easily accounted for YNWA Warriors 64 to 36, but will a new coach in charge see a change in fortune for the Warriors?

Trade Cut Off Point
For players to be eligible for round 2 they mus be traded in to your team before midnight Thursday 8th November. Trades after this wont be eligible until the following round.

Team Submission
Your team sheet must be submitted in this thread no later than midnight Friday 9th November. If your team is not submitted then your team from last week will be used. Team structure is identical to the official game and must be adhered to. This means:
•   The starting 11 must have ONLY 1 keeper named
•   The starting 11 must have AT LEAST 3 defenders named
•   The starting 11 must have AT LEAST 1 forward named
•   The bench must be named in order of your preferred replacements, starting with your reserve keeper, and followed by the remaining 3 players.

Good luck everyone :)

Can I request a team name change, or too late?

Goodfellas (also known as the boxxys)
Krul
Evra, Kompany, Rangel, Mertesacker
Cabaye, Felliani, Walters
Aguero, Van Persie, Fletcher

Subs: Vorm; Hangeland, Wilshere, Kagawa

Captain: Van Persie
Vice-Captain: Aguero

Edit was to take Wilshere out of the starting line-up because he's flowering suspended.

Assuming the name is going to be something like" I <3 Boxxy" I'm going to say it's too late ;)

Nah mate wouldn't do something like that.

Would just make it the boxxies, or boxxylicious or something awesome like that.

CrowsFan

Haha well even if it didn't have anything to do with Boxxy I still wouldn't allow it, as I would then have to go through the fixtures and change the name in every round. And as my good friend Sweet Brown says...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFEoMO0pc7k&feature=related skip to 25 seconds ;)

Just give me your password and I'll adjust them.

Big stuff coming from a supporter of Ryan Giggs ::)

Ftr, Terry was found not guilty by the court. Stfu.

I'm done.

Jukes

On 27 July 2012, the English Football Association charged Terry regarding the incident with "abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour" which "included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race of Ferdinand". The FA had delayed the charge until after the conclusion of Terry's criminal trial. Terry denied the charge.[101] On the eve of the FA's hearing, Terry announced his retirement from the English national football team, saying his position had become "untenable" due to the disciplinary charge. On 27 September 2012, the hearing concluded with Terry being found guilty; he was punished with a four match ban and a £220,000 fine.[102]

Also when you say "I'm done" it usually means you know you can't win the argument because your a quitter.

John Terry found guilty by the Ferguson Association and NOT GUILTY by the court.

Believe what you want. Corruption in the FA is clear.

Saying "Im done" means two things here.

1) I have better things to do with my time than argue pointlessly with a stupid troll like yourself on the internet.

2) I have an exam tomorrow morning to study for and despite this disagreement clearly being the highlight of your sorry little life I do have more important issues to attend to.

Am I being harsh? Maybe.
